As we contemplate Obama’s destruction of our country, sometimes it helps to laugh. Visit Truth & Consequences and check out the clever picture that Jim Simpson posted:

We found a new blogger who has posted a terrific evaluation of Obama’s first months in office. From A PATRIOTIC ROTTWEILER:
I’ve concluded that not only was Barack Obama too inexperienced to be President, but he also appears to be incompetent as an executive, more-than-just-politician-level-dishonest and a bit of a narcissist (if not a fascist). He seems to have little understanding of American history, her dreams, or her tremendous potential for risk-taking, self-correction and innovation. He and Michelle have turned out to be quintessential Ivy League “Oppression Studies majors” with (carefully concealed) “attitudes.” Obama seems, above all, to be a Community Organizer with shakedown credentials and extraordinary speaking ability….
The list is a stunner, written by a corporate CEO. Go visit the patriotic German pooch and read all of this post — BEST EVALUATION OF OBAMA’S REIGN.

Time magazine’s September 20 issue carries a picture of FoxNews talk show host Glenn Beck on the cover. It is not a flattering picture — he is sticking his tongue out. But then his clownish style of reporting does provide many moments when such an image can be captured. Here’s the cover:

Regardless of style, he is almost alone in doing the investigative journalism that is essential to an informed electorate. Professional artist Suzy Rice has redrawn the cover to reflect the real contribution that Glenn Beck is making to saving our American vision of government from creeping socialism. Visit Suzy’s blog and compare her cover to this one. The link will open ABOVE this post, so you can put the two browser windows side-by-side. Go to:
“I THINK THE AMERICAN PEOPLE HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW WHAT THEIR PRESIDENT REALLY BELIEVES” – SO SAYS GLENN BECK, SO SAY I

Today we remember a national tragedy, recorded in stories of public and private loss. Two magnificent skyscrapers are gone. Two grandparents are gone. The two faces of tragedy.
Blogger Nichole Stewart marks the day with a well-researched piece on one family. The grandparents had just retired and gotten their dream home on a river in New Hampshire. The day before was spent seeding the new lawn. On the fateful day, the older couple went to Boston and boarded a plane for California, to visit their new granddaughter. They never arrived.
This is a poignant tale, well told at Single Girl’s Pursuit of Life, Liberty & Happiness…. Go visit Nicole’s weblog and read Your Granddaughter Has Your Smile.

A great blogger “down under” deserves the credit for exposing Van Jones’ communist background.
We bloggers and our readers are having an effect! Van Jones, the (admitted) radical communist “Green Jobs” Czar resigned yesterday. Glenn Beck has been given the credit for almost singlehandedly slapping him down. Glenn should get credit, along with all the other talk show hosts who caught on after him and pounded the airwaves with this information.
BUT WHO GOT THE INFORMATION THAT BECK USED??? The unsung hero in this episode is the person who brought Jones’ radical background to light, a man — not even an American — who labors night and day with NO remuneration and rarely any recognition for his titanic efforts, a man I am proud to call my friend: Trevor Loudon. Please visit his blog, New Zeal, and show your appreciation with a donation.
FYI, it was also Trevor who first discovered that the infamous “Frank” in Obama’s Dreams of My Father book was communist Frank Marshall Davis. Trevor has done more work on Obama’s radical roots than probably anyone else in the world, and he receives scant recognition for it.
From a grateful America, I can confidently say: Congratulations, Trevor! You’re the man! Your diligent efforts were the critical link in bringing this scumbag down.
One very inappropriate Obama czar down, 43 more to go. I would add here that while Jones may be the only admitted communist in Obama’s administration, most of the others have merely neglected to admit it.
[Trevor was interviewed last night on Vicky Nissen's BlogTalkRadio program. You can listen to the interview archived here.]
