The Palin story reminds me a lot of what Clarence Thomas went through back in 1991.

This video is one of the most dramatic moments of the last 20 years. Clarence Thomas went in front of Sen. Biden’s committee to answer some of the outrageous lies told about him.

Why were lefties trying to destroy him? Because Thomas refused to kiss Jesse Jackson’s ring in order to make it in life.

Thomas decided that there was a better way. He did not buy into the welfare state. He escaped from the Dems’ plantation.

This is how he reacted to the angry left’s attacks on his integrity:

I guess that the feminist left is having massive indigestion. After all, how dare a mother have a baby? Isn’t the modern thing to do to have an abortion when you find out that your baby has down syndrome?
