The Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge is three counties deep, and 80 miles into America — including portions that extend north of Tucson. Obama has, effectively, ceded the entire National Park to illegal aliens. And, to help ensure the park’s transfer to illegal aliens, and according to Sheriff Paul Babeu of Pinal County, Obama suspended the fence construction on the park’s border with Mexico.

The park is now a protected freeway for illegal aliens, whose numbers include many Mexican para-military units and potential terrorists from mid-Eastern countries. And, Obama refuses the use of America’s military to help prevent the invasion, despite repeated requests by Arizonans, led by Governor Jan Brewer and Senator John McCain.

Instead of addressing the invasion, Obama has placed warning signs around the park to advise Americans not to enter this now-protected invasion trail. As Sheriff Paul Babeu explains,

“It’s shameful that we, as the most powerful nation on earth, can win wars and liberate countries throughout our history, yet we cannot even secure our own border and protect our own families. And, this is why crime in Arizona literally is and has been among the highest in the nation. And we need help!”

Refusal to protect our border in times of military invasion, a Constitutional obligation of the President, is an impeachable offence. From Wikipedia — the definition of High Crimes and Misdemeanors:

The charge of high crimes and misdemeanors covers allegations of misconduct that do not fall under a more clearly defined impeachable offence; e.g., high treason. This charge occurs only in cases of parliamentary impeachment and is unrelated to any offence in criminal law.

permalink  Terrorists Are Crossing Our Southern Border

Nationals other than Hispanics are entering our country via our porous southern border with Mexico. Border agents have found evidence of Muslim prayer rugs, insignia with jihadist slogans, etc. Documents show people from Afghanistan, Iraq, and Pakistan are entering our country by crossing the border with Mexico. This is a real threat to our country.

Click this link to see the news report from WSBTV in Atlanta on this terrorist threat — “Other Than Mexicans” Crossing into Our Country from Terrorist Countries.

Nearly nine years after 9-11 the United States is still facing a major terror threat. You may be surprised to learn who agents are catching trying to cross the border from Mexico….

…thousands are classified as “OTMs” — other than Mexicans — including hundreds from nations that sponsor terror… Afghanistan, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Sudan, and Yemen…

Said former Arizona congressman J. D. Hayworth, “We have left the back door to the United States open… And we have to understand that there are people who definitely mean to do us harm who have crossed that border.”

Meanwhile, the Obama administration is doing everything possible to make sure that we Americans are unable to defend ourselves against this threat. Arizona passed a law allowing local police to cooperate with federal authorities to enforce immigration law and now the Obama administration, according to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, is planning to sue the State of Arizona.

Is Obama more afraid of Sheriff Arpaio arresting a few illegal aliens than he is of a nuclear bomb going off in one of our cities? I know that Obama said during his campaign that he wanted to “fundamentally transform” America. Between his pathetic response to the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico and his ignoring the threat of a terrorist attack from an illegal alien crossing our southern border, I’m beginning to think that the fundamental transformation he had in mind was turning our nation into a wasteland.

Visit Real Clear Politics to see an interview with Hillary Clinton — Hillary Clinton Says Obama Administration Plans to Sue Arizona Over Immigration Law.

President Obama has spoken out against the law because he thinks that the federal government should be determining immigration policy. And the Justice Department, under his direction, will be bringing a lawsuit against the act. But the more important commitment that President Obama has made is to try to introduce and pass comprehensive immigration reform. That is what we need. Everyone knows it, and the President is committed to doing it.

permalink  Arizona Is Reverting to Mexico

The Pinel County Sheriff says that Mexican Drug Cartels now control parts of Arizona. And there are signs on the highways advising people to not to camp in parts of Arizona because of the danger of the drug cartels. (Click to enlarge picture.)

No Camping Sign

From ABC 15Mexican drug cartels now control parts of Arizona:

Pinal County investigators say an area known as the smuggling corridor now stretches from Mexico’s border to metro Phoenix. The area, once an area for family hiking and off road vehicles has government signs warning residents of the drug and human smugglers. Night vision cameras have photographed military armed cartel members delivering drugs to vehicles along Highway 8.

“We are three counties deep. How is it that you see pictures like these, not American with semi and fully automatic rifles. How is that okay?” asked Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu. Babeu said he no longer has control over parts of his county….

From Canada Free PressObama giving Southwest back to Mexico…:

No more camping south of I-8. So, our government has surrendered and ceded part of Arizona to the smugglers and cartels of Mexico?….

But this is just backwater, flyover AZ so it doesn’t count to the media and Congress, I guess. Folks, this nation better wake up and pay attention. This is only the beginning of what you can expect in YOUR backyards.

permalink  Illegal Immigrant Hatred on Display

Do you remember all the carrying on about “hatred” at the Tea Party rallies because of an occasional controversial sign? Well, at a recent illegal immigrant rally in Atlanta, GA illegal immigrant hatred was on full display with participants comparing Arizona to Nazi Germany, calling the United States the “most monstrous, most oppressive superpower,” passing out communist literature and calling for the violent destruction of our country.

If they dislike it so much here, then why don’t they just go home? Watch the video — Illegal Immigrant Hatred on Display: Illegals Call for Violent Destruction of the US:

permalink  Armed Illegals Crossing the Border

A rancher let concerned citizens place hidden cameras on his land 80 miles north of the Mexican border. They captured footage of men with semi and automatic weapons leading caravans of illegals toting large packs of drugs.

We are told by Homeland Security Chief Janet Napolitano that the US-Mexican border is more secure than it has ever been. If that is so, then why is it that hidden cameras captured video of armed illegals crossing the border and smuggling drugs and humans with them?

Could it be that Ms. Napolitano is lying to us? Or is it that she doesn’t know what she is talking about? Or maybe a little of both?

permalink  Fine Living For Detained Illegals

YGTBSM!* When I first heard this discussed, I thought it was an Onion satire. It’s proof positive inmates have taken over the asylum.

A Mojado‘s year may broadly play out thusly. Dedicate 4-6 months working in the US. Be apprehended and sent to a Club Migra Detention Center. Spend 3-4 months there relaxing, evaluating the year and taking care of any medical issues. Perhaps operate a business via ‘Net and free phone service. Deportation provides free travel home to enjoy Christmas & New Year. Repeat process in the coming year.

From the Houston ChronicleICE to make detention centers more humane:

Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials are preparing to roll out a series of changes at several privately owned immigration detention centers, including relaxing some security measures for low-risk detainees and offering art classes, bingo and continental breakfast on the weekends.

….changes, like new flower baskets, may seem small, but they will combine with the bigger changes to make a difference in the daily lives of detainees…. Taken together they will go some way to making this system less penal….

The Nutshell View

IMPROVING DETENTION
ICE and the private prison company Corrections Corporation of America have agreed to make more than 24 changes at nine facilities. The changes include:
• Relaxing security: Low-risk detainees will have “freedom of movement” in the facilities and will no longer be subject to lock downs or lights out.
• Access: Detainees will be able to have visitors stay as long as they like within a 12-hour window. The facilities will increase attorney visitation space, add un-monitored phone lines and give detainees email and free, Internet-based calling. A unit manager will be available to take complaints directly from detainees.
• Daily life: Detainees will be allowed to wear regular clothing, will have at least four hours of recreation daily, and will be offered cooking, art and dance classes.
Source: ICE e-mail dated May 27

WHERE
Nine locations, including Houston, will implement the changes.
• Elizabeth Contract Detention Facility, New Jersey
• Eloy Detention Center, Arizona
• Florence Service Processing Center, Arizona
• Houston Contract Detention Center, Texas
• Laredo Contract Detention Facility, Texas
• North Georgia Detention Center, Georgia
• Otay Detention Center, California
• Stewart Detention Center, Georgia
• T. Don Hutto Detention Center, Texas
Source: ICE

But that’s not all…

At the CCA facilities that have agreed to ICE’s changes, detainees will see more variety in their dining hall menus and have self-serve beverage and fresh vegetable bars. CCA also plans to offer movie nights, bingo, arts and crafts, dance and cooking classes, tutoring and computer training… Detainees also will be allowed four hours or more of recreation “in a natural setting, allowing for robust aerobic exercise.” CCA also committed to improving the look of the facilities, such as requiring plants, fresh paint and new bedding…

All this on the taxpayer’s dime. The average daily cost per detainee that ICE pays nationally for contract detention is $102. Struggling taxpayers, how does this compare with what is costs to send your kids to college or to put your parents in a retirement home? How many of you working stiffs get four hours of recreation per day? Or dance lessons?

Good contract opportunity for Corrections Corporation of America

America’s Leader in Partnership Corrections

Welcome to CCA, the nation’s leading provider of correctional solutions to federal, state and local government.

Our company – the first of its kind – was founded in 1983. Our approach to public-private partnership in corrections combines the cost savings and innovation of business with the strict guidelines and consistent oversight of government. This has produced proven results for more than a quarter-century.

CCA designs, builds, manages and operates correctional facilities and detention centers on behalf of the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the United States Marshals Service, nearly half of all states and nearly a dozen counties across the country.

On the positive side, it would probably cost a lot more if the government were running the facilities.

permalink  WaPo Shills for Dems Again

An article today from WaPo provides more mindless support for the Democrat Party position of unlimited migration for Latin & South American “illegal INVADERS” for typical Democrat vote buying & criticizes Republican Delegate Tim Hugo for illegal “bashing.” I was in law school during the “Watergate Coup” driven by the Washington Post where ANY & EVERY possible legal mistake by the Nixon Administration was grounds for impeachment. NOW, there’s nothing wrong with INVADING the USA according to the Washington Post & after invading, the invaders can only be given AMNESTY & the right to vote for Democrats as a “solution.” FUNNY, just enforcing the law & deporting illegal invaders can’t be considered by the Washington Post? Why? Democrat Party POLICY! The aforenoted article also makes a “hero” of Albert Dwoskin who was caught a few years ago providing a free vacation for corrupt Democrat moron Representative Jim Moran. Dwoskin is another perfect supporter of the anti American Democrat Party just like those that run the Washington Post.

From the Washington PostLeadership, or grandstanding?:

IN THE DEBATE over illegal immigration, most of the passion, and the vitriol, comes from opponents. Unfortunately, they tend to be better at decrying and denouncing the problem than solving it. So it was no surprise that at a forum on a proposed day-laborer center in western Fairfax County the other night, most of the several hundred people who showed up were irate and opposed to the idea. Nor was it a surprise that none had a better idea for dealing with the several dozen workers — some illegal, some not — who hang out on the streets and sidewalks in the area now. Mostly, they just want the problem, and the workers, to disappear.

This is magical thinking, of course. The workers will not disappear — not from Centreville, where a local developer has proposed establishing a day-laborer site on land he owns, and not nationally. Unless and until Congress acts, the best that communities can do is tackle the issue piecemeal and pragmatically.

That is the approach taken by Albert Dwoskin, the developer, and Michael R. Frey….

Their idea was met with disdain, fury, booing — and muddled thinking….

The opponents’ champion is Del. Timothy D. Hugo (R-Fairfax), who loves making hay — but changes nothing — by bashing illegal immigrants….

The opponents’ champion is Del. Timothy D. Hugo (R-Fairfax), who loves making hay — but changes nothing — by bashing illegal immigrants. Mr. Hugo would have Fairfax police officers issue tickets to the workers….

Mr. Frey and Mr. Dwoskin want to address the problem. Mr. Hugo wants to score points off it. That’s the difference between leadership and grandstanding.

Just another episode from the Washington Post’s tradition of mindless support for Democrats. Note that WaPo doesn’t consider enforcing the law of the land to be a solution. Also note the very one-sided coverage in which those favoring the illegal aliens are praised and those opposed are “muddled” and “vitriolic.” WaPo — dead fish wrapper, bird cage liner, log fire starter — but not journalism.

MASON CONSERVATIVEMark Ellmore Has A Question:

Why did Rep. Jim Moran accept $5,000 from a large Democrat donor for a trip to Jamaica? Wasn’t this suppose to be the most ethical Congress in history? Then again, the words “Jim Moran” and “ethics” work about as well as “Cubs” and “World Series champions.”….

Mark Ellmore, Republican candidate for Congress in Virginia’s 8th Congressional District, expressed deep concern on Monday evening after learning that Congressman Jim Moran accepted a $5,000 gift in the form of a trip to Jamaica in December 2006 from the owner of the A.J. Dwoskin & Associates property management company. The gift was from Albert Dwoskin who has contributed over $120,000 to Democrats including several previous contributions to Jim Moran since the 2006 election cycle began. This trip included lodging and travel expenses. The Richmond Times-Dispatch commented on Monday about the House Ethics Committee pre-approval of the trip saying, “It was made based on a personal friendship dating back 20 to 25 years” but then quoted a public watchdog group that called the gift “excessive.” It is alarming that Moran would accept this unusually large personal gift from the owner of A.J. Dwoskin & Associates which Congressional records show that the company has been registered to conduct lobbying business in past years….

permalink  Photos the Media Has Censored

My jaw dropped when I saw these photos, taken at the illegal alien demonstration in Phoenix, AZ over the weekend.

Somehow, the lamestream media, which swarmed all over this event, failed to notice any of this. Maybe they saw it all like everyone there did, and just failed to report it to you? Is that possible from the unbiased media? These images sure don’t fit the standard narrative of poor desperate people who just want to immigrate and make better lives for their families — the media’s preferred belief and constant drumbeat.

Tremendous thanks to Kim Grady of Second Amendment Sisters in Phoenix for forwarding the images to me, taken by a mutual friend in Arizona government who is best left unnamed for safety reasons. Pictures taken May 29, 2010.

“This Internet stuff is way too dangerous. Allowing information like this to freely circulate at the mere discretion of the people, without strict controls from the ruling class and their compliant media must be stopped.”

You KNOW the power brokers are thinking that way — the Wild West freedom of the Internet will need to be controlled if the ruling class is to stay in power. Watch for it. It’s coming.

Illegal Immigration Outlawed

The lamestream media told you:

Arizona’s immigration law, passed by the legislature in late April, makes it a state crime to be in the country illegally, according to Haya El Nasser, writing for USA Today.

About 70 parents usually show up at Pena Blanca Elementary School in Rio Rico monthly for parent-teacher meetings, but the April meeting only saw 20 show up. “There is a little fear,” says Sandra Figueroa, principal of this Santa Cruz County school 12 miles from the Mexican border.

“Fear, mistrust, anger.” writes Nasser.

The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:

It’s a crime to be in the country illegally? Isn’t that redundant?

This is not about immigration. This is about illegal immigration.
Arizona welcomes immigrants. Always has.

In Mexico, the penalty for sneaking into the country is two years in prison, with no trial and no due process. A repeat offense gets you ten years in a Mexican prison. In the U.S. there has been no penalty and no attention, because the official federal policy (based on observation) is to do nothing. This is why Arizona has undertaken to do something about the invasion it suffers under.

The 50 parents who didn’t show up in Rio Rico (the law doesn’t even take effect for two months) have nothing to fear if they’re here legally. Nothing.

If they’re here illegally, educating their kids at our expense, ripping us off for social services, using emergency rooms for routine medical care, paying no taxes because they have no ID, they should be deported (the U.S. justice system would never allow for two-year prison terms, especially without trial, like Mexico prefers).

Despite media reports, racial profiling is illegal. Stopping people to check “their papers” is illegal and not authorized by Arizona’s fine new law. Anyone stopped for a legitimate reason (public drunkenness, traffic violations, vandalism, vagrancy, criminal acts, etc.) can be asked for ID. Failure to produce ID, when coupled with other legitimate factors, can lead to sufficient reasonable suspicion to check on the background and immigration status of a person. Sovereign nations require this. U.S. federal authorities, who have the main responsibility for this, have failed miserably in performing their duties to protect our borders and citizenry in this manner. It is left to the states to act to protect us.

The media has been saying there are 12 million illegals here since 2002 (now though it’s mysteriously become 11 million). But the Border Patrol has been saying 2 million people a year attempt entry, and they catch one out of two, or one million new entrants annually. For eight years.

So, why don’t the papers update their numbers? Because that would give credence to a point of view they don’t believe in (called “reality”) and would rather ignore.

Virtually everything you’ve seen reported in the lamestream media on this topic is flat out wrong or distorted past all recognition. Mexico has horrifically racist laws on immigration, while we are simply trying to stop an illegal invasion. Why are we letting all these racists in? The only people with anything to fear are the ones who are breaking the law by being here.

The worst part of the media coverage is what’s missing — like the photos obtained from the recent protests, which the lamestream media has deliberately chosen to suppress, leaving you in the dark. Almost.

permalink  Limits on Birthright Citizenship

Does merely being born in the United States entitle you to US citizenship? What if you are born to parents who are in the US illegally? One southern California congressman doesn’t think so and has introduced a bill which would end birthright citizenship. From The Press-EnterpriseBill would end birthright citizenship for children of illegal immigrants:

As the national immigration debate rages on, one Southern California congressman is challenging the basic notion that anyone born in the United States should be granted citizenship.

Rep. Gary Miller, R-Diamond Bar, is pushing legislation that would end birthright citizenship for children born to illegal immigrants.

Miller also is taking aim at the so-called “birth tourism” industry, which arranges the travel and hospitalization of non-Americans who wish to have their babies on U.S. soil for the purpose of acquiring citizenship for them….

Also, from The Examiner comes a very thoughtful article on this issue. Apparently there was one case which ended up in the courts around the turn of the century involving a man of Chinese background who was born in the US to parents who were in the US from China on diplomatic business. The court pointed out that the man’s parents were in the country LEGALLY, that he had no criminal record, was gainfully employed, etc. thereby implying that there were some conditions attached to US citizenship other than mere birth in the US. Read Illegal Aliens and US Citizenship:

There has been only one case where the United States Supreme Court looked at the question at length. United States v. Wong Kim Ark was an 1898 decision by the court….

The decision did not automatically confer citizenship on the children of persons who were here illegally. Nor are those children automatically granted citizenship.
