Most conservatives are wondering, “What can I, personally, do to help stop Obama’s anti-America juggernaut?” Recall that grammatically incorrect statement — “All politics is local.” It’s true! Every marxist and conservative in Washington is there because of local politics.
Do this. All patriotic citizens who cherish the vision of our founding fathers for the United States should attend the local Precinct Convention for their political party. It is at these meetings that the process of composing the party platform begins. At the Convention you will be asked to vote for or against Resolutions that will be forwarded to the County Convention, and if passed there, on to the State Convention. This is how national party platforms and some state laws are formed.
You can affect both party platforms and state laws. Make up your own Resolutions. Make them plain and specific to one issue. Give concrete and detailed reasons why adopting the resolution is necessary. If your Resolution is against the actions of a group, give no quarter. Take 3 copies to be signed and forwarded to the County Convention. Take many more to pass out to attendees.
The primary elections in the race for Texas governor will be held this Tuesday, March 2 for both major parties. Following the primaries, precinct meetings will be held to compose the party platforms. Conservative Texans are urged to attend their Precinct’s Convention about 7:15 p.m. next Tuesday. When you vote, ask someone where it will be held. It will likely be in a school classroom, cafeteria, etc.
At other times and in a variety of formats, similar efforts will be taking place in all of the other states. All patriotic Americans should learn the particulars for their location and become involved. The ideological forces of Marxism and Islamic sharia have insinuated themselves into the fundamental levels of our democratic process, and have permeated our public education. An overwhelming participation by true patriots is needed to rout them.
Here’s a bit of background. In 1961 (or 1962, I forget), I attended a meeting of the Christian Anti-Communism Crusade in the Emerald Room of the (then) Shamrock Hotel, in Houston, Texas. One of the many guest speakers was Herb Philbrick — whose real life experience in infiltrating the Communist party was the basis for the TV series, “I Led Three Lives.”
Philbrick told how the communists had taken control of many civic organizations across America, including his home town’s civic association in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The communists had previously gone to classes to learn Robert’s Rules of Order — and they learned those rules perfectly. They then went to many civic organizations’ meetings and participated. At every opportunity, they raised simple “points of order.” They would then, helpfully, state how some motion, etc., should have been handled. Soon, they had the confidence of the usual hometown Americans — who frequently knew nothing about the use of parliamentary law in meetings. Soon, everyone agreed that the person who knew the rules should become the president of the local organization.
Once in the controlling positions of the organization, they used the organization (and the organization’s money) to promote the communist agenda. As a local civic association, they had the local stature to raise funds. As the controlling officers, they had the power to direct those funds to the use of the Communist Party’s causes. The local civic organizations became communist fronts.
The same thing is going on today, not only by proponents of socialism, but now in addition by muslims, who seek to institute Sharia Law in our communities. One of their prime targets is the Precinct Convention meeting — after the primary polls close.
Be Warned!
- Buy a copy of and brush up on Robert’s Rules of Order.
- Many towns have “Parliamentary Law Clubs,” where ladies (mostly) fellowship together in a civic club with a purpose. Frequently, the members of such clubs are officers in other community organizations. If your town has one, join it. Those ladies are great contacts for networking.
- Get your friends and neighbors to attend your Precinct meetings. Yes. I know. “It’s a pain.” Just do it. Or let the Muslims have the power in your local community.
- Carry multiple copies (many require three copies) of typed party planks, to be voted on and forwarded to the County and State conventions. Don’t try to prepare them on the spot.
- Do not allow any muslim to intimidate you by saying that you are persecuting him because of his religion. Islam is both a religion and a political system. Sharia Law is a political issue.
But, first and foremost: Don’t let foreign subversives — whether Marxist or Islamic — get control of your local organizations, precinct chairmanships, county organizations, or state organizations.
I’m a Texan so, as an example, let me share the resolution that I will be offering this Tuesday evening. For background, read this article — Organizing Kids for Obama:
President Barack Obama’s budget has added more than $100 billion of federal taxpayers’ money to what is called “education,” so that means it will be spent by alumni of the Saul Alinsky school of radical community organizing and/or the Chicago Democratic machine…. Obama is using the public schools to recruit a private army of high-schoolers to “build on the movement that elected President Obama by empowering students across the country to help us bring about our agenda.” We now know that Obama’s “agenda” is to move the United States into European-style socialism….
Obama’s Internet outreach during his campaign, Obama for America, has been renamed Organizing for America (OFA) in order to recruit students to join a cult of Obama and become activists for his goals. …the teacher of an 11th-grade government class in Massillon, Ohio, passed out the sign-up sheet, headed with Obama’s “O” logo, asking students to become interns for Organizing for America….
This must never happen in my state. Here’s my Resolution:
Resolution Opposing Use of Texas Public Schools for Community Organizing
WHEREAS in his inauguration speech, President Obama promised to “transform this country;”
WHEREAS in his budget, the Obama administration added more than $100 billion in taxpayer’s money for what he listed as “Education;”
WHEREAS at American Taxpayer expense, his Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan, mailed instructions to every school on how to participate in the September 8 political speech that was broadcast to public school children, making it clear that he has no reservations about using taxpayer money to promote his agenda;
WHEREAS Mr. Obama’s campaign Internet outreach — Obama For America — has been renamed “Organizing for America” (OFA) with the purpose of recruiting students to become activists for his goals;
WHEREAS the application to join the OFA Internship program states its goal as, “empowering students across the country to help us bring about our agenda of change;”
WHEREAS the application further states, “credit must be approved by your school ahead of time;”
WHEREAS OFA’s “National Intern Organizer Curriculum” includes a reading list that includes Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals;”
WHEREAS OFA’s reading list also includes Zack Exley’s “The New Organizers” in which it brags about “an insurgent generation of organizers” inside the Obama campaign that has “almost without anyone noticing … built the Progressive movement a brand new and potentially durable people’s organization, in a dozen states, rooted at the neighborhood level;”
WHEREAS on OFA’s reading list is Rinku Sen’s “Stir It Up: Lessons from Community Organizing and Advocacy;”
WHEREAS on OFA’s reading list is Obama’s “Dreams of My Father,” who is well known as a radical Marxist-Leninist;
WHEREAS a federal government organization, the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), having a budget of $1.416 billion, oversees other taxpayer funded “service organizations;”
WHEREAS CNCS oversees Senior Corps, AmeriCorps, and Learn and Serve America, which regularly dole out millions of Dollars to radical liberal organizations; and
WHEREAS the U.S. Senate has recently confirmed CNCS’s new chief executive, Patrick Corvington, who was a senior official of the Annie E. Casey Foundation, which has given over a million and one-half dollars to the Acorn network of organizations;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that we urge the Texas Legislature to enact legislation requiring that neither Texas public schools nor their students be used as instruments for political agendas, such as community organization, but, rather focus on history, reading, writing, mathematics, and science.
Adopted this 2nd day of March, 2010, at the Precinct Convention of Precinct # ____ of the Republican Party of Texas.

Inquiry Finds Government-Run Hospital Inhumane and Appalling
An independent investigation reports that heath care providers at a National Health Service hospital caused “unimaginable” suffering to patients. The devastating report finds that the Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust (hospital) in the United Kingdom routinely subjected sick and dying patients to “inhumane treatment” through neglect and by leaving hundreds to die in squalor.
The inquiry, released February 24, said hospital administrators allowed staff numbers to fall “dangerously low,” preventing nurses from providing basic care, which led to the following list of horrors:
- Patients were left unwashed in their own filth for up to a month as nurses ignored their requests for assistance to use a bedpan, go to and from the toilet, or change their sheets — some families took soiled sheets and bed clothes home to wash;
- Patients drank water from flower vases as food and drink were left out of reach;
- Patients were neglected and developed infections or had falls, some of which were fatal;
- Patients were hastily discharged by medics who feared being fired for delays;
- Wards were left filthy with blood, discarded needles, and used dressings while administrators bullied and intimidated people into silence; and
- Four members of one family, including a new-born baby, died within 18 months following hospital blunders.
The report, conducted by Queen’s Counsel investigator Robert Francis, also increased death-toll numbers from 400 to nearly 1,200; last year the Department of Health and NHS regulators estimated hospital deaths from 2005 to 2008. Julie Bailey, founder of Cure the NHS, commented:
It is time that the public were told the truth about the very large number of excess deaths in NHS care and the very large number of avoidable but deadly errors that occur every day.
The report revealed that hospital administrators cared more about meeting government goals and cutting costs than providing safe, adequate care for the patients. Francis condemned hospital bureaucrats for fixating on cutting waiting times to meet Labour targets and neglecting dying patients. Shadow Health Secretary Andrew Lansley said:
These awful events show how badly Labour has let down NHS patients. It should never again be possible for managers to put a tick in a box marked ‘target met’ while patients are pushed off to a ward and left to die,” .
Francis reported that chief administrator, Martin Yeates, had failed to resolve the hospital’s “governance and staffing issues” because his administration “focused on systems” instead.
Before becoming Mid Staffordshire’s chief heath care administrator, Yeates had worked in the hotel industry and had managed a catering department at Walsgrave Hospital in Coventry. He was hired in September 2005 to develop “a more businesslike approach” to help the hospital gain foundation trust status, considered the standard for excellence in the NHS. Mid Staffordshire achieved NHS elite status two years later.
In addition to Yeates, two others in his administration resigned and a number of doctors and at least one nurse are being investigated by the General Medical Council and Nursing and Midwifery Council respectively.
Jan Harry, Mid Staffordshire’s director of nursing from 1998 to 2006, told Francis that she didn’t remember the decision to cut the nursing staff by 52 or the plan that drastically altered the ratio of trained to untrained staff, adding that it wasn’t her job to monitor ward standards.
The NHS does not inflict severe punitive measures on administrative bureaucrats for substandard work or ban them from working, as it does with doctors or nurses. Administrators receive six-figure redundancy packages or move to other hospitals in spite of their blatant incompetence or poor management abilities. Yeates was suspended last March with a £1million pension, six months salary, and a possible £400,000 settlement. Noted Health Secretary Andy Burnham:
We must end the situation where a senior NHS manager who has failed in one job can simply move to another elsewhere.
After accepting the report’s 18 recommendations, Burnham called for a new investigation to determine why Department of Health and NHS regulators failed to recognize the deteriorating conditions at the hospital. However, families of the victims are a bit incredulous. They claim the proposed inquiry is a “whitewash” and instead are calling for a full public investigation to provide the openness, clarity, and transparency necessary to prevent future horrors from ever happening.
In spite of having concerns about staffing, patient welfare, the availability and suitability of equipment, and the effective monitoring and handling of complaints, the Care Quality Commission, the NHS regulator, has declared that the hospital under its new management is now “safe to provide services.”
In the wake of the UK’s worst-ever NHS hospital scandal, the White House and congressional Democrats are on the brink of using the nuclear option to pass Obamacare, whose public option would lay waste to America’s current health care system and plunge Americans headlong into a bureaucratic quagmire of socialized medicine and a recurring nightmare of a single payer government controlled health care system, comparable to the Brits’.

Oddly enough, George Armstrong Custer was a Democrat. But, unlike today’s Democrat Pols, he was also a patriot who fought bravely to save America during the Civil War started by the Democrat Party. His abilities as a soldier involved the simple theory of always riding to the sound of the guns which is basically what happened at the Battle of the Little Bighorn. Using this simple tactic, Custer had won his laurels in the Civil War & survived many similar situations with Custer’s LUCK as an essential ingredient. At the Battle of Sailor’s Creek in southern Virginia which took place just before the end of the War, Custer spotted a large Rebel wagon train & immediately attacked without reconnaissance. Custer didn’t realize that 2 Rebel infantry Corps were on either side of the wagon train & would’ve destroyed his cavalry division without his LUCK which came in the form of the timely & unexpected intervention of the 6th Corps of the Army of the Potomac.
On February 25, 2010, Republican Senators & Congressmen advanced into a modern version of the Battle of the Little Bighorn that was set up to trap them by Democrat Pols, Media & Academia. Observe that no matter what happened, the Democrat Media as in NBC, CBS, ABC, NPR, PBS, Wash Post, & NY Times automatically PRAISE everything that the Democrat Pols did. Democrat Academics are trotted out to praise the efforts of Democrat Pols. Democrat Pols will be allowed to praise their proposed Marxist programs as wonderful for Americans without any clarification or question. The only objective analysis will come from FOX News & talk radio. At the Little Bighorn, Custer was warned by America’s Crow Indian Allies that he was advancing against “too many Sioux.” This warning is of no value for today because Democrat control of most of the MEDIA prevents real free speech from a free press. Republicans had no real choice but to adopt the tactics of a far better commander than Custer, Hernando Cortez.
Cortez advanced with a force of only 550 men versus a whole country & empire in his war against the Aztecs. Cortez’s advantage was the fact that his 550 men were products of one of mankind’s best ever warrior creators, the culture of Castile. These men had also experienced the military system created for Castile’s greatest ruler, Isabella, by Gonzalo de Cordoba. They were the first generation of what is remembered in military history as the “Invincible Spanish Infantry.” Like Custer, their basic tactic was to attack which they did with a savage fury seldom matched in military history. The Republicans face the kind of uphill fight that Cortez faced with the Aztecs. No matter what they do or say & even how CORRECT they are won’t matter because most of the MEDIA is part of the Democrat Party.
Democrat MEDIA praise began before the summit even started & without any real discussion of what the existing Democrat proposed bill would do. In fact, the Democrat MEDIA has never accurately reported what the Democrat Pols are actually proposing to do which is to seize control of the US insurance industry, not reform health care. Thanks to the Democrat Media, a year’s worth of discussion on this subject has been a FRAUD. The Democrat’s bill is itself a FRAUD. The Democrats can lie with impunity about what they are doing because 90% of the US Media is itself a FRAUD as part of the Democrat Party. Ironically, America’s health care system has received the most harm from Federal intervention itself, with the society-destroying Medicare & Medicaid programs being the real diseases.
Contrary to the musings of druggy drunk Glen Beck, the real problem with the Republican Party ever since the end of the Civil War has been its failure to recognize that the Democrat Party is the enemy within. The harm that Democrat Pols have done America has now come to the point where their current application of Marxism will be a fatal virus for individual liberty & economic prosperity in the country. The Health Care Summit & the Democrat’s Obamacare are about creating an American version of the soviet system which by its very nature adopts FAILURE. The Soviet Union was the ultimate super government state & it was a disaster for both its citizens & the world around it. Of course, this FACT means nothing to the Democrat Media which is filled with useful idiots that don’t care about truth or reality.
Can you imagine the way the Democrat Media would describe the ignorant and arrogant Obama if he were a Republican? How they would ridicule brainless Baltimoron Nancy D’Alessandro Pelosi? While undertaker corpse face Reid would engender nonstop sarcasm. At the “summit,” the Republican representative made me proud to be a life long member of the party. Wisconsin Republican Ryan stood like a member of one of the Wisconsin regiments in the Iron Brigade batting down Obama’s lying gibberish. Virginia Republican Cantor did an imitation of the Stonewall Brigade of the same conflict as he pointed out the basic bankrupting cost of Obamacare. The other Republican participants including our brave but erratic Senator McCain did America proud.
If America had an objective Media it would drag the Democrat rats into the light of day where ultraviolet would disintegrate their lies. Instead, Media BIAS alone makes 2 November 2010 as important an election as November 1860. America has thrived & survived up until now because of its free elections & the resulting representative government. Today’s Democrat Party only wants elections that are certain for them to win & as the Health Care Summit showed loud & clear, Democrat Pols don’t give a damn what anybody else thinks.

Both major US political parties are self-perpetuating power brokers, long divorced from the welfare of citizens. While ordinary folk struggle to make ends meet in a failing economy totally created by these same self-serving politicians, they live high on the hog.
You will recall the trip a bevy of Democrats made to the January climate conference in Copenhagen. Nancy Pelosi shepherded a large group abroad in private jets, where they stayed in five-star hotels eating caviar and lobster and riding in limousines. This luxury living was all at the taxpayers expense, of course.
Now we learn that the Republicans are also living large. Citizens who wanted to end the Democratic profligacy of the incumbents filled the Republican party coffers with political donations. In January the Republican National Committee took in about $10 million, which donors no doubt hoped would fuel victories in the mid-term elections. But the RNC spent most of the money holding their regular winter meeting in Hawaii, a conference that had previously been held in Washington DC where all the pols were already.
From Politico — Michael Steele’s spending spree angers donors:
Republican National Chairman Michael Steele is spending twice as much as his recent predecessors on private planes and paying more for limousines, catering and flowers – expenses that are infuriating the party’s major donors who say Republicans need every penny they can get for the fight to win back Congress.
Most recently, donors grumbled when Steele hired renowned chef Wolfgang Puck’s local crew to cater the RNC’s Christmas party inside the trendy Newseum on Pennsylvania Avenue, and then moved its annual winter meeting from Washington to Hawaii.
For some major GOP donors, both decisions were symbolic of the kind of wasteful spending habits they claim has become endemic to his tenure at the RNC. When Ken Mehlman served as the committee chairman during the critical 2006 midterm elections, the holiday party was held in a headquarters conference room and Chic-fil-A was the caterer….
The idea that they are somehow different from — read “better than” — the rest of us seems to be a disease that overtakes politicians after a few weeks in office or in the corridors of political party power. One can only hope that the developing force of the Tea Party movement will counterbalance the elitism of the two established political parties. An article in The American Interest expresses the potential:
When the system seems stuck or dysfunctional and the pressure builds up for change, this is when populists rise up against elites and the suspicion of elites and government that seems to be part of America’s DNA comes to the fore.

Congressman Mike Rogers from Michigan effectively skewered the Democrats’ health care plan speaking in the House of Representatives. He specified the dangers to individuals and described the unfairness to workers and employers. This short video is a must see.

The Secure Communities Program is an example of efforts at the state and local levels which are effective against illegal immigration.
Fairfax County in Virginia is enrolled in the Secure Communities Program administered by the US Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement. This program allows local law enforcement to identify and deport illegal immigrants who are in their jails. Fairfax County is one of many counties around the country which are enrolled in this program.
Don’t let any local politician tell you that illegal immigration is a federal issue and that nothing can be done at a state or local level. When will we see the Secure Communities Program in all the states? Maybe when enough residents write or phone their mayors, state assemblymen, and state senators and tell them that they want it!
Read about the Fairfax County program — Program That IDs Illegal Immigrants Sought for Deportation Gets High Marks:
…the Fairfax program … automatically checks the digital fingerprints of anyone processed at the jail against immigration databases maintained by the Department of Homeland Security. If someone is found to be an illegal immigrant whom officials want to deport, an officer of DHS’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, or ICE, calls the jail’s booking desk within an hour to place a “detainer” on the person….
…Fairfax Sheriff Stan G. Barry, who runs the detention center, gave the program high marks. “It’s been absolutely fantastic,” he said. “We’ve been able to identify a lot more individuals who are threats to our community and have them removed.”

Tea Party folk really think of “We the People.” Pub and Dem pols think “You Our Subjects.” That spirit of all of us making a nation together crops up again and again in Tea Party circles. Here are a couple of examples.
In early February, the Greater Dallas Republicans invited the Republican primary candidates for governor to a caucus. Speaking at that event, Tea Party backed candidate Debra Medina said (4 of 10, 8:09 min.):
It’s certainly not one woman’s ideas that are going to help us find the best answers for the problems that face us. Our Founders understood. They put the right to free assembly in the First Amendment in the Bill of Rights for a reason. There’s wisdom in the collective minds of men….
Marco Rubio is the Tea Party backed challenger to the establishment candidate in the Republican primary for governor of Florida. He has worked his way up in public service from City Commissioner to Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives. (You can hear him speak here.)
For the two years before he became Speaker, Rep. Rubio traveled around Florida collecting ideas about government from the citizens. He published the top 100 in a book, 100 Innovative Ideas for Florida’s Future. All 100 were eventually passed by the Florida house, and fifty-seven actually became law.
Again and again we see the Tea Party candidates focused on representation, while the establishment politicians reek of elitism. For example, last summer New York congressman Eric Massa said he would vote against the wishes of his constituents when it is good for them.
And have you ever watched an establishment candidate making his way through a crowded airport? Men walking on either side of him will roughly shove ordinary citizens aside so the candidate can walk in a direct line to his destination. Ponder also Nancy Pelosi and her minions flying in private jets to January’s climate conference in Copenhagen, staying at the five-star Marriot and eating lobster and caviar.
Ideas are powerful. They shape human behavior and determine real life outcomes. The entrenched politicians are arrogant, and only consider public opinion when polls suggest they might lose their jobs. The Tea Party types are regular folk, and think in terms of representing their fellow citizens and making our nation the best it can be. As Debra Medina said:
I have acknowledged repeatedly that this isn’t a race for monarch…”

…and weaken the Republican party. The McCain toady is in bed with Obama and GE will push the renewable energy bill.
Sellout Senator Lindsay (Gramshi) Graham (R-SC) is working with GE lobbyists to draft “the Clean Energy Act of 2009,” which will mandate that 20 percent of electricity come from “clean energy sources” by 2020 and 50 percent by 2050.
GE CEO, Jeff Immelt, bet the farm in developing “green” energy-generating products and Graham has been out front among Republicans regurgitating the myth that fossil fuels destroy the planet to undercut free markets and increase energy prices on the American people. Tom Borelli writes in Lindsay Graham Seeks to Bail Out General Electric and Rescue Obama’s Energy Policy:
Immelt does not want to compete in the open marketplace. Rather, he wants to game the political system by working with Congress to mandate demand for GE’s products, either by increasing the price of fossil fuels through a cap-and-trade system or via a Graham-type bill that requires power generation from renewable energy sources.”
From the rubble of the anthropomorphic global warming scam, America does not need to dig out renewable energy laws. But GE needs mandates to push its wind and solar power products, and South Carolina’s gelding appears to have been for sale. His clean energy definition mirrors GE’s business strategy for renewable energy, clean coal technology, and nuclear energy. The New York Times reports:
Several sources said General Electric Co. helped Graham in crafting the legislative language. GE has the world’s largest gas turbine manufacturing plant, in Greenville, S.C., and the company also is leading development of new nuclear reactors and a “clean coal” technology known as integrated gasification combined cycle, which has the capacity to capture and permanently sequester carbon emissions.
John McCain has mentored his toady well, i.e., wait until victory is at hand; then board your ass, cross the aisle, insert your dagger deep in the back of your party leader, and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory to the chant of “Maverick! Maverick!” from the adoring gaggle of gathered propagandists commissioned to praise your heroic deeds.
Graham has been a patsy for the political left since his days on the Hyde Committee, which processed the impeachment of Bill Clinton. He double-crossed Henry Hyde and was the only Republican to join with Committee Democrats and vote against the perjury charge, the keystone article of the three articles of impeachment.
Gramshi is a big-government, self-promoting RINO who is out of step with the beliefs of most Republican voters, but he won’t be up for reelection until 2014, which means the party must endure another five years of his treachery. But it’s not too late to do something about the treacherous actions of his mentor.
Megan’s faux conservative daddy is facing a bona fide conservative challenger in J.D. Hayworth for the senate seat in Arizona. If Arizona Republicans are serous about saving their party and ridding the country of the tyrannical policies of the progressive Democrats, they will send Graham’s maverick mentor home to spend time with his insufferable daughter.
