Guard troops at border to be commended for retreat
Four Tennessee National Guard members who retreated from their post along Arizona’s southern border when they were confronted by gunmen from Mexico will receive commendations for their actions.
Tennessee Adjutant General Gus Hargett will travel to Arizona next week for the ceremony to recognize the soldiers’ response to the confrontation, which could have erupted into an armed exchange….
