Tea parties enable the recently awakening patriots to come together and share ideas, but they are not enough. Our country is in the clutches of power-hungry, greedy, self-serving political hacks who use party politics to retain their control.
Jim Condit, Jr., producer of the video The Strangest Political Secret says:
Whether or not we implement the neighborhood precinct strategy in 2009 through 2010 to 2012 may mean the difference in life or death to the constitutional form of government with its true freedoms that we’ve had in the United States for two hundred and thirty-something years. This is the only peaceful and constitutional solution. The system is already set up, and the precinct strategy is also the way to organize — by county, by state, and by precinct — in case things go unexpectedly for the worse in the United States of America in the next few years.
The strangest political secret is the neighborhood precinct strategy.
There are fifty states (sorry, Obama, there ARE fifty) divided into 3141 counties. The Democratic and Republican political parties, between the two, control ALL of them. Each one of the counties is divided into neighborhood precincts for voting purposes. All the voters living in a precinct vote at one place.
In even numbered calendar years, party primary elections include voting for party precinct leaders. About one month later, party members meet to elect party leaders. These people are almost always party loyalists who select candidates that will continue the regime of political insiders.
If we are to take our country back, Condit suggests, we must find a few hundred thousand patriots from among the ranks of Second Amendment defenders, Ron Paul supporters, Tea Party patriots, and others who believe in constitutional government to fill the precinct leader positions.
This video is 13:24 minutes long. We urge our readers to take the time to watch.

Most conservatives are wondering, “What can I, personally, do to help stop Obama’s anti-America juggernaut?” Recall that grammatically incorrect statement — “All politics is local.” It’s true! Every marxist and conservative in Washington is there because of local politics.
Do this. All patriotic citizens who cherish the vision of our founding fathers for the United States should attend the local Precinct Convention for their political party. It is at these meetings that the process of composing the party platform begins. At the Convention you will be asked to vote for or against Resolutions that will be forwarded to the County Convention, and if passed there, on to the State Convention. This is how national party platforms and some state laws are formed.
You can affect both party platforms and state laws. Make up your own Resolutions. Make them plain and specific to one issue. Give concrete and detailed reasons why adopting the resolution is necessary. If your Resolution is against the actions of a group, give no quarter. Take 3 copies to be signed and forwarded to the County Convention. Take many more to pass out to attendees.
The primary elections in the race for Texas governor will be held this Tuesday, March 2 for both major parties. Following the primaries, precinct meetings will be held to compose the party platforms. Conservative Texans are urged to attend their Precinct’s Convention about 7:15 p.m. next Tuesday. When you vote, ask someone where it will be held. It will likely be in a school classroom, cafeteria, etc.
At other times and in a variety of formats, similar efforts will be taking place in all of the other states. All patriotic Americans should learn the particulars for their location and become involved. The ideological forces of Marxism and Islamic sharia have insinuated themselves into the fundamental levels of our democratic process, and have permeated our public education. An overwhelming participation by true patriots is needed to rout them.
Here’s a bit of background. In 1961 (or 1962, I forget), I attended a meeting of the Christian Anti-Communism Crusade in the Emerald Room of the (then) Shamrock Hotel, in Houston, Texas. One of the many guest speakers was Herb Philbrick — whose real life experience in infiltrating the Communist party was the basis for the TV series, “I Led Three Lives.”
Philbrick told how the communists had taken control of many civic organizations across America, including his home town’s civic association in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The communists had previously gone to classes to learn Robert’s Rules of Order — and they learned those rules perfectly. They then went to many civic organizations’ meetings and participated. At every opportunity, they raised simple “points of order.” They would then, helpfully, state how some motion, etc., should have been handled. Soon, they had the confidence of the usual hometown Americans — who frequently knew nothing about the use of parliamentary law in meetings. Soon, everyone agreed that the person who knew the rules should become the president of the local organization.
Once in the controlling positions of the organization, they used the organization (and the organization’s money) to promote the communist agenda. As a local civic association, they had the local stature to raise funds. As the controlling officers, they had the power to direct those funds to the use of the Communist Party’s causes. The local civic organizations became communist fronts.
The same thing is going on today, not only by proponents of socialism, but now in addition by muslims, who seek to institute Sharia Law in our communities. One of their prime targets is the Precinct Convention meeting — after the primary polls close.
Be Warned!
- Buy a copy of and brush up on Robert’s Rules of Order.
- Many towns have “Parliamentary Law Clubs,” where ladies (mostly) fellowship together in a civic club with a purpose. Frequently, the members of such clubs are officers in other community organizations. If your town has one, join it. Those ladies are great contacts for networking.
- Get your friends and neighbors to attend your Precinct meetings. Yes. I know. “It’s a pain.” Just do it. Or let the Muslims have the power in your local community.
- Carry multiple copies (many require three copies) of typed party planks, to be voted on and forwarded to the County and State conventions. Don’t try to prepare them on the spot.
- Do not allow any muslim to intimidate you by saying that you are persecuting him because of his religion. Islam is both a religion and a political system. Sharia Law is a political issue.
But, first and foremost: Don’t let foreign subversives — whether Marxist or Islamic — get control of your local organizations, precinct chairmanships, county organizations, or state organizations.
I’m a Texan so, as an example, let me share the resolution that I will be offering this Tuesday evening. For background, read this article — Organizing Kids for Obama:
President Barack Obama’s budget has added more than $100 billion of federal taxpayers’ money to what is called “education,” so that means it will be spent by alumni of the Saul Alinsky school of radical community organizing and/or the Chicago Democratic machine…. Obama is using the public schools to recruit a private army of high-schoolers to “build on the movement that elected President Obama by empowering students across the country to help us bring about our agenda.” We now know that Obama’s “agenda” is to move the United States into European-style socialism….
Obama’s Internet outreach during his campaign, Obama for America, has been renamed Organizing for America (OFA) in order to recruit students to join a cult of Obama and become activists for his goals. …the teacher of an 11th-grade government class in Massillon, Ohio, passed out the sign-up sheet, headed with Obama’s “O” logo, asking students to become interns for Organizing for America….
This must never happen in my state. Here’s my Resolution:
Resolution Opposing Use of Texas Public Schools for Community Organizing
WHEREAS in his inauguration speech, President Obama promised to “transform this country;”
WHEREAS in his budget, the Obama administration added more than $100 billion in taxpayer’s money for what he listed as “Education;”
WHEREAS at American Taxpayer expense, his Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan, mailed instructions to every school on how to participate in the September 8 political speech that was broadcast to public school children, making it clear that he has no reservations about using taxpayer money to promote his agenda;
WHEREAS Mr. Obama’s campaign Internet outreach — Obama For America — has been renamed “Organizing for America” (OFA) with the purpose of recruiting students to become activists for his goals;
WHEREAS the application to join the OFA Internship program states its goal as, “empowering students across the country to help us bring about our agenda of change;”
WHEREAS the application further states, “credit must be approved by your school ahead of time;”
WHEREAS OFA’s “National Intern Organizer Curriculum” includes a reading list that includes Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals;”
WHEREAS OFA’s reading list also includes Zack Exley’s “The New Organizers” in which it brags about “an insurgent generation of organizers” inside the Obama campaign that has “almost without anyone noticing … built the Progressive movement a brand new and potentially durable people’s organization, in a dozen states, rooted at the neighborhood level;”
WHEREAS on OFA’s reading list is Rinku Sen’s “Stir It Up: Lessons from Community Organizing and Advocacy;”
WHEREAS on OFA’s reading list is Obama’s “Dreams of My Father,” who is well known as a radical Marxist-Leninist;
WHEREAS a federal government organization, the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), having a budget of $1.416 billion, oversees other taxpayer funded “service organizations;”
WHEREAS CNCS oversees Senior Corps, AmeriCorps, and Learn and Serve America, which regularly dole out millions of Dollars to radical liberal organizations; and
WHEREAS the U.S. Senate has recently confirmed CNCS’s new chief executive, Patrick Corvington, who was a senior official of the Annie E. Casey Foundation, which has given over a million and one-half dollars to the Acorn network of organizations;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that we urge the Texas Legislature to enact legislation requiring that neither Texas public schools nor their students be used as instruments for political agendas, such as community organization, but, rather focus on history, reading, writing, mathematics, and science.
Adopted this 2nd day of March, 2010, at the Precinct Convention of Precinct # ____ of the Republican Party of Texas.

He didn’t even try to hide it. In his defection speech from the Republican party, Senator Arlen Specter declared very simply that polls of his Pennsylvania constituency showed that he had a very poor chance of being re-elected as a Republican, and therefore he was switching to the Democratic party. He also mouthed some platitudes about the Republican party’s leaving him, an utterly implausible excuse, since the basic Republican party’s platform hasn’t changed since Ronald Reagan’s day.
Yes, the pure and simple reason for Specter’s abandonment of the party that had served him well for five terms in the Senate was nothing more than a desperate grasp at retaining his personal power base. As one of the more senior senators, he has held positions on many of the “plum” committees, including the Senate Judiciary Committee. People who have spent this long building up a base of power and influence are deeply reluctant to lose it.
Specter recently dismayed (and betrayed) his fellow Republicans and millions of our conservative, tax-paying citizens by voting for Obama’s huge pork-laden “stimulus” bill, one of the most irresponsible actions in the history of our country. Evidently it not only angered fellow members in Congress, but must have had repercussions with his voters in Pennsylvania, who made it known they would not tolerate such traitorous shenanigans, and come next election cycle, would be voting for someone with more sense of responsibility.
What makes Specter’s defection so ironic is that in 2001, when Senator Jim Jeffords abandoned the Republican party to become an independent, an angry Senator Specter introduced legislation to prevent a senator from changing parties in mid-term. Presumably his ire over “Jumping Jim’s” defection stemmed from the quaint, old-fashioned notion that a senator is elected by his constituents based on his party credentials and the campaign platform on which he runs — a platform that normally mirrors the party’s basic positions on most issues. He then owes his constituents his loyalty to maintain those positions for the six-year term of office.
The idea of owing a group of citizens who elected him into office, some consistency, loyalty and integrity was fine for other senators. But when it appeared it would have an adverse affect on Arlen Specter’s personal political career, it only took a few phone calls from Vice President Biden, no doubt filled with tantalizing promises of campaign cash from the Democrats’ fat coffers, and more plum committee assignments, for Specter to abandon any pretense of loyalty to his former principles.
More and more of our country’s hard-working citizens are becoming increasingly disenchanted with corrupt politics in Washington, and are being energized to do something about it. The Tax Day TEA parties produced far more participants among both Democrats and Republicans than anyone expected, and organizers are capitalizing on the huge turn-outs to keep the momentum going with follow-up meetings and strategies to replace career politicians with people who still understand the meaning of “we the people” and the obligation to support their voters instead of building personal power bases.
If Shakespeare’s Marcellus (in Hamlet) thought something was rotten in Denmark, he would have reeled from the stench in Washington. Greed, corruption, and power-mongering among those we are supposed to trust is so palpable, I’m surprised they haven’t started issuing masks to cope with the odor.
The irresponsible spending; the cavalier disregard for the threat of terrorism and the danger posed by the “axis of evil;” the revealing of classified information to the detriment of those who are trying to save lives; and the many insulting remarks about the military who put their lives on the line to defend the homeland, are just a few of the stinking, rotten betrayals foisted on us by the President, Senate, and House of Representatives. To again paraphrase Shakespeare, “A pox on all your houses!”

I see in her the grit, resolve and complete lack of political pretense that brought Teddy Roosevelt to power a century ago.
People around the world are asking, “Who is Sarah Palin?” I thought you might appreciate an analysis from someone who has worked with John McCain’s pick for Vice President.
Before I wrote Why Men Hate Going to Church, I was a full-time television producer in Anchorage, Alaska. I did quite a bit of political consulting in election years. Sarah came to me in 2002 and asked me to produce media for her Lt. Governor campaign. I knew right away she was a different kind of politician. She was confident but not arrogant. She was down-home approachable, yet sophisticated. She seemed utterly uninterested in the trappings of power, yet ambitious to wield power for good. As cameras rolled for her first commercial, I knew that Sarah Palin was a gifted communicator.
And she was a savvy negotiator. At our first meeting she made it clear she would be running a shoestring campaign. She told me she liked my work and wanted me to produce her electronic media, but she had no fat cat donors to bankroll her run.
I don’t cut my rates for anybody. But I did what Christians are supposed to do: I went home and prayed about the decision. Frankly, I didn’t expect an answer. God doesn’t usually prompt me regarding my business decisions. But in the case of Sarah I had an immediate impression that I should help her, and that I was not to worry about the money. I called Sarah the next day and signed on for her long-shot campaign.
Sarah has been a guest in my home. She’s had dinner with my family and I’ve been to her house in Wasilla to film one of her commercials. We’ve worked together through the pressures of the campaign season. We took a moment to stop and pray when the campaign got tough. Sarah also encouraged me to complete my first book, and came to a book signing at Barnes and Noble in Anchorage in 2005 (see photo).
Her rapid rise in politics is a direct result of her unwavering moral compass. Sarah makes her decisions based on one criterion: what’s the right thing to do? In 2003, Gov. Frank Murkowski offered her an appointment to the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission. (I advised her not to take the position. She ignored my advice, and took the job anyway.) Shortly after taking her seat on the commission, she noticed that one of her fellow commissioners, Randy Reudrich, was doing political business on state time. Reudrich was (and still is) chairman of the state Republican party. Randy controls the flow of money to Republican candidates.
Once a year all political appointees in Alaska are required to sign a conflict of interest statement. Part of the statement requires commissioners to report any violation by their colleagues. Sarah felt she had no choice but to tell the truth about Reudrich’s abuses, even though she would be turning in a fellow Republican. In the days following her allegations many who follow Alaska politics (myself included) thought Sarah had committed political suicide. But her courageous stand against corruption endeared her to the citizens of Alaska.
In 2006 Sarah Palin decided to run for governor. You have no idea what a quixotic mission this was. To win elections in Alaska a candidate must gather the backing of at least one powerful group: the oil industry, the media or the labor unions. Sarah had none of these. Nevertheless, she won the Republican nomination handily. In the general election, the power groups stepped up their opposition. The media dismissed her as a lightweight (and too conservative). The oil industry and labor unions backed her Democratic challenger. Even her own Republican Party (under the control of Reudrich) offered only token support. In the end only one group stood behind her: the people. She rolled to victory and began cleaning house.
Sarah tightened the states ethics laws. She sponsored an ingenious new tax regime on the oil industry, sweeping away a law passed a year earlier under the taint of corruption. And she jump-started Alaska’s long-stalled dream of a natural gas pipeline to the Lower 48 states. Instead of begging the big oil companies to build a pipeline (as her predecessor had) she opened the process for competitive bidding. Today, Alaska has two groups competing to build the line, with a possible third group waiting in the wings. She enjoys an 80+ percent approval rating here in Alaska.
Most politicians learn early in their careers to carefully parse every word that flows from their mouths. Not Sarah. She has a tendency to speak her mind, and say things that might one day come back to haunt her. More than once I’ve rolled my eyes and thought to myself, Sarah, why did you say that? But our governor keeps following that moral compass –- and comes up smelling like a rose. All the controversy that’s swirling around her this week is vintage Sarah. I’ve seen this movie before, and it always ends the same way: with Sarah Palin standing taller than ever.
The last time I saw Sarah was about two months ago. She was here in my hometown of Chugiak, with her newborn son Trig, walking around a local craft fair on a Sunday afternoon. I was struck by the simplicity of it: the Governor of Alaska, visiting a craft fair with no media entourage, no security guards, no big crowd. Just a mother and son enjoying a beautiful Alaska summer day. We had a nice talk about everything except politics.
As far as her religious beliefs go, Sarah is your garden-variety evangelical Christian. She’s a woman of genuine faith, but not a zealot or weirdo. She has not hidden her faith during her term as governor, but neither has she worn it on her lapel. I think that’s a good thing.
So, is she ready to lead the free world? I have no doubt Sarah Palin would be a tough-as-nails negotiator during any political crisis. She’s stood up to corruption in her own party. She’s stared down Exxon and won. Heck, even she got me to lower my production rates! I see in her the grit, resolve and complete lack of political pretense that brought Teddy Roosevelt to power a century ago. I think she’s ready to be Vice President, and will be prepared to assume the Oval Office if the need arises.

Ed Morrissey has an interesting update on the PUMAs:
“A massive e-mail and Internet campaign is under way aimed at derailing the nomination of Barack Obama and making Hillary Clinton the party’s standard bearer next week at the Democratic National Convention in Denver. …
Most of the messages Lowery has received from across the country come from Hillary supporters making the case that she won more voters’ votes in the primaries, she won bigger states, that Obama won states that won’t vote Democratic in November, and that she is the only “electable” Democrat.”
The PUMAs have a point. Kristen Powers thinks that BO did not treat HRC’s women with respect! (By the way, PUMA stands for Party Unity My Ass)
The real question is this: Is there buyer’s remorse? I think that Rush Limbaugh is right: Democrats in Panic Mode as McCain Takes Lead in Polls! David Gergen sees Obama: In Need of a Game Changer! David Broder writes that Voters Want Reassurance from Obama!
What if they take a vote and HRC pulls off a surprise victory? Keep your eye on the Dems in Denver!

Hillary supporters are going to raise Cain at this convention. It will be very entertaining! PUMA!
Let’s recall what Hillary & Bill had to say about Barack during the primary season. (The Clintons have already done the work for the McCain campaign!)

3. HILLARY: Saying Obama misrepresented her positions on NAFTA and healthcare, she essentially called him a liar.

Politico — HRC: ‘Shame on you, Barack Obama’

8. HILLARY: Obama is too liberal and a flip-flopper!
“On a lot of these issues it is hard to know where he stands, and people need to ask that.”

9. HILLARY: Obama is too conservative and not supportive enough of a woman’s right to choose!

10. HILLARY: Obama is often AWOL and indecisive! Commenting on his ‘present’ votes in the Illinois state senate:
“A president can’t vote ‘present.’ A president can’t pick and choose which challenges he or she will face.”
Chicago Sun-Times — Hillary slams Obama ‘present’ votes on abortion, gun laws
11. HILLARY: Obama represented a slum lord in Chicago. He has not been properly “vetted” to be president. Implication: Obama is corrupt.
“The closest Clinton has come to openly raising Obama’s connections with Rezko was during the Congressional Black Caucus presidential debate Jan. 21. “I was fighting” against “bad” Republican ideas, she told Obama, “when you were practicing law and representing your contributor, Rezko, in his slumlord business in inner-city Chicago.” In fact, Clinton messed it up. Rezko was not a client of Obama’s firm and was not a slumlord. Accused of racial insensitivity, Clinton dropped the issue.”
Still, Hillary seems to know something we don’t, yet. The Rezko/Obama connection involves allegedly questionable real estate dealings and campaign contributions.
“Obama bought a mock Georgian mansion on Chicago’s south side on June 15, 2005, the same day Rezko’s wife bought a plot next door from the same seller. Obama then purchased from Rezko another parcel at above-market value. Federal prosecutors recently revealed that Nadhmi Auchi, an Iraqi billionaire who lives in London, wired $3.5 million to the financially strapped Rezko in Chicago less than a month before the Obama-Rezko purchases. James Bone, investigative reporter for the Times of London, wrote last Tuesday that “the money transfer raises the question of whether funds” from Auchi “helped” Obama buy his house.
This is what candidate Clinton had in mind after losing Iowa’s caucuses when she claimed Obama had not been properly “vetted” to be president. For months prior to that, her agents had hinted darkly that Obama’s past could be used by Republicans when the time came. But these were only hints, because of fear that explicit revelations would backfire against Clinton.”
Real Clear Politics — Obama’s Former Friend
12. HILLARY: Obama’s pastor engages hate speech and Obama chose to go to that church so Obama appears to endorse that theology and political philosophy. By not leaving the church or objecting, Obama tacitly endorsed Rev. Wright’s hate speech.
“He would not have been my pastor,” Clinton said. “You don’t choose your family, but you choose what church you want to attend.”
The Clinton campaign had previously said it would keep away from the controversy, but today the former First Lady plunged right into it, decrying what she called “hate speech” and comparing Wright’s remarks to those of Don Imus.
“You know, I spoke out against Don Imus, saying that hate speech was unacceptable in any setting, and I believe that,” Clinton said. “I just think you have to speak out against that. You certainly have to do that, if not explicitly, then implicitly by getting up and moving.”
ABC News: Political Punch — Hillary Hits Obama on Rev. Wright
SUMMARY: During the last year Hillary and Bill have said Obama is unqualified, untested, vague on issues, a political opportunist, a liar, a crook, an irresponsible legislator, too liberal, too conservative, a liar, a fast talker with no substance, delusional, a deceitful manipulator and a promoter of hate speech.
Now they endorse him?
Wow.

Much has been made in recent days of Barack Obama’s associations with really questionable people, for example former Weather Underground bombers William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, and Obama’s racist, agitator “pastor” Jeremiah Wright, who in addition to his charming hate speech, apparently supports the terrorist group, Hamas.
But this is truly baffling. If the national media is so foursquare behind Obama’s candidacy, as they seem to have been up to now, and are genuinely concerned with Obama’s radical roots, why on earth didn’t they long ago expose Hillary Clinton’s much deeper, lifelong commitment to, and involvement in, virulently anti-American, radical leftist groups? Why aren’t they doing it now?
For that matter, why did they dredge up the information on Obama at all? Everyone knows that advancement in today’s Democrat party requires making the rounds in leftist circles, paying homage to prominent leftists and cultivating the active support of movement radicals like Ayers. It’s a rite of passage. These days, if you aren’t a radical leftist, you aren’t really a Democrat, as all those “moderate” Democrats elected in the 2006 cycle have since discovered.
Radical communist chic has been “mainstreamed.” Politicians like Obama, Hillary, Nancy Pelosi, Ted Kennedy, Dick Durbin, to name but a few, all attend cocktail parties with the Bill Ayers of the world. They all think Danny Ortega’s communist Sandinistas are swell guys. They all think we can “do business” with Hamas, Syria and Iran. They all still think the North Vietnamese communists liberated South Vietnam! They all think America is the bad guy!
And for the most part, our national news media heartily agrees with them!
To be criticized for carousing with terrorists is just silly! NBC’s Brian Williams even suggested our own founding fathers were terrorists. Michael Moore called Zarqawi’s Al Qaeda in Iraq “Minutemen!” So what’s the big deal? The title of a Chicago Sun-Times article on the subject says it all: — Obama’s Ayers Connections Never Bugged Anyone. They don’t care. They really don’t!
So, if it’s not their concern about Obama’s terrorist connections that has the media raking him over the coals “and I assure you it is not” then what is it?
The scrutiny Obama is receiving has nothing to do with his radical roots, but rather the leftist media’s recognition that an Obama candidacy, floating tenuously as it is, on nothing more than flowery rhetoric (hot air, in other words), could well sink Democrats’ chances to regain the Presidency.
Despite his recent win in North Carolina, and yet more death knells for Clinton’s candidacy, I will go out on a limb and repeat: the fact is Hillary is and always has been the more electable Democrat. Maybe the media is finally realizing this.
An even more cynical view however, is that the media artificially inflated Obama’s candidacy specifically to make for a heated race, thereby giving all Democrat candidates a lot of free publicity. Whatever the case, one can argue that this race has generated an unprecedented amount of press.
And while it appears the Democrats are tearing themselves apart now, leftists know something many of us overlook: the public generally has a very short memory.
I like Rush Limbaugh, but this time, I am afraid Rush may be all wrong. His “Operation Chaos” and other Republicans’ efforts to single out Obama are playing into the hands of the Democrats’ endgame. I believe the endgame is and always has been a Clinton candidacy with Obama as V.P.
Are you laughing? Hear me out first.
This idea has been repeatedly floated by the Clinton camp. And while Obama haughtily spurns such overtures, do you really doubt he would pass up the opportunity if he realized his prospects were otherwise doomed? Obama, like Clinton, is a leftist Democrat, which means practically everything he does and says is pure POSTURING.
Bait and switch; that is the essence of the leftist political tactic. Bill Clinton was a master, but they all do it. In order to woo conservative Pennsylvania voters, Hillary Clinton recently even went so far as to claim she supports the Second Amendment! What kind of idiots does she think we are? Pretty big ones, apparently.
And with justification, for today Hillary is considered, even among Republicans, as the more “moderate” candidate! This is truly Orwellian. The entire notion is preposterous, yet because she made the one calculated move of supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom in the beginning, she is now hailed as a “Reagan Democrat!” Democrats change like chameleons to suit their immediate needs, and usually the mass media works overtime to cover for them.
So I ask you, would Obama have thrown Rev. Wright under the bus if the media never mentioned him? Would he have pretended not to know William Ayers if the connection had not been revealed? Obama, like Clinton, will turn on a dime if his political fortunes are at stake — and make it sound just as convincing as all the other contradictory statements he has made. So why would you believe he is serious in spurning Hillary while being skeptical of his refutation of Rev. Wright?
A Clinton/Obama presidency would bring an abrupt end to all the internecine fighting, heal all wounds and create a ticket all democrats could enthusiastically support. The media meanwhile would go head over heels in their fawning for this “dream ticket” and quickly forget Obama’s inconvenient, radical “past.” After all, they never cared about it in the first place!
A Clinton/Obama ticket would be difficult to beat. But their victory would be certain if they somehow enticed a third party candidate to enter the race and split the Republican ticket, as Bill Clinton did with Ross Perot, twice. Remember: TWICE! And they may just have gotten their deliverance from an unlikely source: Conservative Georgia Republican Bob Barr has recently announced his candidacy on the Libertarian ticket. While he will probably not pull a lot of votes, the election promises to be tight for McCain in the best of circumstances. Bob Barr may yet become what Ralph Nader was to Al Gore in 2000.
A third-party-candidacy repeat of 1992, with a Hillary/Obama “dream ticket” has always been my nightmare, and I am afraid I am watching it unfold, praying nightly that I am wrong.
I know this entire theory sounds pretty outlandish, but the duplicity and machiavellian calculations of the modern Democrat party cannot be exaggerated. Furthermore, Hillary is so deeply entrenched in the radical leftist movement that has captured the Democrat Party, that I think pretty much anything is possible.
While Obama is clearly a radical leftist with many communist and other unsavory connections, Hillary is clearly the more dangerous of the two — especially in light of her carefully cultivated but thoroughly undeserved image as a “moderate.” She has been deeply involved with subversive movements since college, and knows all the major players. Her election would spell an unprecedented disaster for this country, a disaster from which we may never recover.
Part II of this article, coming soon, will explore Hillary’s radical connections in depth.

Newt Gingrich recently wrote, “My Plea to Republicans: It’s Time for Real Change to Avoid Real Disaster,” an article that spelled out his reasons for alarm and steps that he believes would restore Republican primacy, or at least competitiveness. Whereas what he wrote was good and accurate, let’s take a look at why the Republican Party has declined into the pit of despair and shadow of gloom to avoid a repetition of this present brush with disaster.
Problems actually began with the 1994 rout of the Democrat Party. Gingrich and others presented a plan, a contract entitled the “Contract with America” which Clinton quickly dubbed, “The Contract On America.” Republican failure to respond quickly and forcefully to that play on words was the first in a series of missteps that Republicans made. Things went relatively well given Clinton’s expertise at political gamesmanship. But Gingrich took the edge off of the Republican “express” when he engaged in a dalliance that lead to divorce and decision to step aside as Speaker at the very time that Republicans were going after Bill Clinton for his own sexual indiscretions.
To his credit, Gingrich had the integrity to step aside, and Clinton took the opportunity to rebound and consolidate his power and control as “Liberal-in-Chief,” and as a result set a precedent of conduct so damaging to the nation that is continues to be played out. Clinton’s conduct has become a model of behavior for an entire generation of children and young adults. Meanwhile, the vacuum left by Gingrich was so profound that Hastert never did fill it but did manage to hang on courtesy of the political momentum left over from the “Class of ’94.”
The end came incident to ineptitude on the part of the Bush Administration in its prosecution of the War on Terror; the President’s men espousing the reason for the war as being “Weapons of Mass Destruction;” his good ole’ boy embrace of Enron’s Chief, Ken Lay as being a “good man;” and, exacerbated by Viet Nam Hero, Republican Congressman Randy Cunningham covering himself, and like it or not the Republican Party, with shame incident to his conviction for bribery. Mark Foley’s sexual emails to young pages didn’t help the Republican cause and Gingrich’s decision to close down government were all missteps that cost them dearly. Adding fuel to the fire was Democrat grandstanding with the support of their media lackeys, or is it the other way around? Anyway, the above taken together with the Democrat exploiting the “War on Terror,” plus Republican spending like a “drunken sailor” culminated in the ouster of Republicans from majority positions in both Houses of Congress in the mid term election cycle. This was not Republican’s finest hour.
If one thing can be said for Democrats, they know how to fight while Republicans are entirely too genteel and rely too much on what they mistakenly believe are their superior positions with respect to people’s self-interest. Democrats want power, control and their version of an orderly society, which incidentally is impossible given their liberal social underpinnings. Their solution is to throw more money at social programs, hire more sociologists and social planners, and increase the size of government to guide public “sheep.”
Where Republicans have traditionally advanced the notion that individuals can and should seek their own solutions to both personal and societal problems, in stark contrast, as a general rule Democrats believe that Government central planning and control are the answer. The former believe that humankind is endowed by the Creator with the capacity, ingenuity and resourcefulness to solve the problems it encounters and the latter believe that Government and burgeoning bureaucracies can best craft answers; answers that inevitably cost more money that comes from higher taxes and government printing presses.
The essence of the problem succinctly put, is that Republicans became too much like their Democrat counterparts, straying far afield from conservative fiscal and social principles upon which they were elected in a landslide in the first place. Some of the failures were political — opportunities were frittered away in personality jousting and a gross misjudgment concerning government shutdown just before the holidays. Gingrich became the “grinch” that stole the holidays.
Despite his abysmal leadership failure, Gingrich’s analysis and suggestions are excellent in the noted article. It is worth reading and its points worth implementing.
But the larger question arises, “Will the Republican Party continue its leftward movement?” or, “Will it find its way back to conservative principles that guided it in the past and served generations of Americans with distinction?”
We’ll see!
