Is Obama’s refusal to secure our U.S./Mexican border from millions of invading illegal immigrants — by design?

Despite strong evidence that heavily armed Mexican drug cartels continuously cross Arizona’s border smuggling drugs, attack Arizona police and commit crimes that threaten all Americans, Obama has vehemently refused to protect Arizona’s border with sufficient troops. Despite millions of unemployed Americans having to compete with 12 million illegal immigrants for jobs, Obama won’t lift a finger to stop the gushing flow of Mexicans that 24/7 illegally enter the United States via Arizona.

Increasingly states are moving toward bankruptcy, and can’t afford the costs of illegal immigrant medical services, education and incarceration of illegal immigrants that commit crimes. Before addressing why Obama refused to sufficiently help Arizona protect its state/U.S. border, one might ask why Obama, in the midst of a financial crisis, wants to burden U.S. taxpayers by making Puerto Rico a state, often referred to as “Welfare Island.”

Most Americans find it unbelievable that the Obama administration is filing a suit to stop Arizona’s illegal immigration bill SB 1070. But it is believable when you consider that Obama’s socialist/Marxist constituency intends to use millions of illegal immigrants to force their agenda. They will impose unaffordable public services on states and U.S. Government that will financially overwhelm and cripple government infrastructures, problematically destroying the United States.

America won’t die immediately. In the interim Congress will have to hugely raise citizens’ taxes to forestall an economic collapse. Ironically that will feed leftist mandates that citizens’ share their wealth with the masses. Increasingly it appears Obama intends to force a form of Marxist socialism on Americans — even if that means destroying the U.S. economy. The longer Obama can keep the Mexican border open, millions more illegal immigrants will come to America to financially bleed U.S. taxpayers and governments dry, politically changing the direction of America toward socialism. If leftists succeed in spending America into bankruptcy, it is foreseeable millions of desperate Americans might accept, even welcome, a hybrid form of Marxist socialism.

Recently the Obama administration took legal steps to prevent an Arizona illegal immigration law taking effect that would criminally charge employers who knowingly hired illegal immigrants; leftists consider it collateral damage of their cause that illegal immigrants take American jobs. America’s greatest threat is not from foreign enemies, but from the Marxist malignancy that is spreading — in U.S. Government.

Consider what Obama has already accomplished. During the worst recession since the Great Depression Obama has forced (unaffordable) health insurance, new taxes and regulatory costs on U.S. citizens and businesses that will inhibit investment and hiring of new employees for years. Obama has forced heath insurance costs on Americans that will prevent millions of self-employed middle class home buyers from qualifying for home mortgages; yet qualified home buyers are desperately needed in this recession to support and stabilize home values that secure trillions in bank-held mortgages so banks don’t fail. Assuming Obama’s intention is to help the U.S. economy, it appears he is doing most everything one would do to destroy it.

My jaw dropped when I saw these photos, taken at the illegal alien demonstration in Phoenix, AZ over the weekend.

Somehow, the lamestream media, which swarmed all over this event, failed to notice any of this. Maybe they saw it all like everyone there did, and just failed to report it to you? Is that possible from the unbiased media? These images sure don’t fit the standard narrative of poor desperate people who just want to immigrate and make better lives for their families — the media’s preferred belief and constant drumbeat.

Illegal Immigration Outlawed

The lamestream media told you:

Arizona’s immigration law, passed by the legislature in late April, makes it a state crime to be in the country illegally, according to Haya El Nasser, writing for USA Today.

About 70 parents usually show up at Pena Blanca Elementary School in Rio Rico monthly for parent-teacher meetings, but the April meeting only saw 20 show up. “There is a little fear,” says Sandra Figueroa, principal of this Santa Cruz County school 12 miles from the Mexican border.

“Fear, mistrust, anger.” writes Nasser.

The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:

It’s a crime to be in the country illegally? Isn’t that redundant?

This is not about immigration. This is about illegal immigration.
Arizona welcomes immigrants. Always has.

In Mexico, the penalty for sneaking into the country is two years in prison, with no trial and no due process. A repeat offense gets you ten years in a Mexican prison. In the U.S. there has been no penalty and no attention, because the official federal policy (based on observation) is to do nothing. This is why Arizona has undertaken to do something about the invasion it suffers under.

The 50 parents who didn’t show up in Rio Rico (the law doesn’t even take effect for two months) have nothing to fear if they’re here legally. Nothing.

If they’re here illegally, educating their kids at our expense, ripping us off for social services, using emergency rooms for routine medical care, paying no taxes because they have no ID, they should be deported (the U.S. justice system would never allow for two-year prison terms, especially without trial, like Mexico prefers).

Despite media reports, racial profiling is illegal. Stopping people to check “their papers” is illegal and not authorized by Arizona’s fine new law. Anyone stopped for a legitimate reason (public drunkenness, traffic violations, vandalism, vagrancy, criminal acts, etc.) can be asked for ID. Failure to produce ID, when coupled with other legitimate factors, can lead to sufficient reasonable suspicion to check on the background and immigration status of a person. Sovereign nations require this. U.S. federal authorities, who have the main responsibility for this, have failed miserably in performing their duties to protect our borders and citizenry in this manner. It is left to the states to act to protect us.

The media has been saying there are 12 million illegals here since 2002 (now though it’s mysteriously become 11 million). But the Border Patrol has been saying 2 million people a year attempt entry, and they catch one out of two, or one million new entrants annually. For eight years.

So, why don’t the papers update their numbers? Because that would give credence to a point of view they don’t believe in (called “reality”) and would rather ignore.

Virtually everything you’ve seen reported in the lamestream media on this topic is flat out wrong or distorted past all recognition. Mexico has horrifically racist laws on immigration, while we are simply trying to stop an illegal invasion. Why are we letting all these racists in? The only people with anything to fear are the ones who are breaking the law by being here.

The worst part of the media coverage is what’s missing — like the photos obtained from the recent protests, which the lamestream media has deliberately chosen to suppress, leaving you in the dark. Almost.

Dictator emeritus Fidel Castro has applauded Brother O and his Bread and Circuses administration for advancing universal health care in their takeover of America’s health care system. 

“We consider health reform to have been an important battle and a success of his (Obama’s) government. … [T]he government … has approved medical attention for the majority of its citizens, something that Cuba was able to do half a century ago,” Castro wrote in an essay published by Cuba’s mainstream press.

So what does half a century of medical treatment for the majority look like in Cuba? Sicko Michael Moore boasts that Cuban medical treatment is great for everyone, except of course for the average Cuban. For Cuba’s common man “great” means dilapidated hospitals, filthy conditions, neglect, starvation, and 5 percent take-home pay after taxes. 

When the Soviet Union stopped supporting Cuba’s economy with $5 billion in annual aid, its health care system hit the skids. The situation has become so bleak that Canadian doctors urge their patients to take “a suitcase full of medical supplies to drop off at a local clinic or hospital” when they vacation on the island. According to a pharmacist from Moron, Cuba, “If you need the most complicated operation, you can get it at a Cuban hospital. But medicines are the problem.”

“We know how difficult life is here, so when we come for a vacation, we always bring a few bottles of antibiotics and Tylenol,” said a Canadian housewife who vacations in Cuba.

“My doctor in Toronto told me that there is nothing available in Cuba, so I came prepared [with tubes of antibiotic cream, aspirin, decongestants and bandages] just in case I needed any of these things for myself. But I am leaving most of what I brought for the maids and the bartender,” added another Canadian vacationer.

Cuba has a three-tiered health care system. The first tier is the “medical tourism” system, designed for tourists who come to Cuba on health tourism packages to obtain treatment at cut-rate prices — a kidney transplant, for example, costs about half as much as one in the U.S. 

The Cuban government established the tourist-only hospitals to cater to the thousands of visitors from Latin America and parts of Europe. Tourists pay hard cash for discount prices on botox, liposuction, breast implants, and dental work. Cuban specialists also treat Parkinson’s disease and retinatis pigmentosa, a hereditary disease that causes night blindness. 

Tourist hospitals are clean, state-of-the-art facilities well-stocked with the latest equipment and imported medicines.

“Tourists have everything they need. But for Cubans, it’s different. Unless you work with tourists or have a relative in Miami sending you money, you will not be able to get what you need if you are sick in Cuba. As a doctor, I find it disgusting,” said a pediatrician from Moron.

The second health-care system is for the Cuban “nomenklatura,” i.e., the elites of the communist party, which includes bureaucrats, the military, official artists and writers, and other party cronies. Their health care mirrors the first-world system for medical tourists. 

Cuba’s third system is the one for the common people, and it is truly wretched. Hospitals and clinics are unsanitary and falling apart. Surgeons lack basic supplies and must reuse latex gloves. Patients must buy their own sutures on the black market and bring their own bed sheets, soap, towels, food, light bulbs and toilet paper to the hospital. Basic medicines are scarce. 

Local pharmacies are neat and spotless, but they lack even the most common items, such as aspirin and rubbing alcohol. However, they do stock a lot of green boxes of herbal diet teas from Spain. Aspirin and common medications can be purchased at government-run dollar stores, but the prices are too high for most Cubans, whose average wage is about $12 a month.

“I haven’t seen aspirin in a Cuban store here for more than a year. If you have any pills in your purse, I’ll take them. Even if they have passed their expiry date,” said a nurse from Moron.

The equipment used in the third tier system is either antiquated or nonexistent. Although Cuban doctors are well trained, they have nothing to work with. When American doctors travel to Cuba on errands of mercy, they take with them as much equipment and supplies as they can carry.

“The hospital conditions are pretty deplorable. … It]s like operating with knives and spoons,” said Dr. Gary Nishioka, an American plastic surgeon, who had just returned from a trip to Cuba.

Although many of the residents of Moron are fortunate because they work in nearby resorts and often receive foreign medications as tips, conditions have deteriorated so badly for most Cubans that diseases such as tuberculosis, leprosy, typhoid, and dengue fever — eradicated years before — have resurfaced among the population. 

To finance Cuba’s universal health care system, the government uses the money from its joint-venture operations in manufacturing, tourism, banking, and mineral exploration with foreign companies. About 30,000 Cubans work in these operations and receive 5 percent of their total wages; the Cuban government “reinvests” the other 95 percent for the good of the entire population. 

“There is absolutely nothing free about Cuban health care …. Social services are financed from the sweat of the poor Cuban workers,” said Ismael Sambra, president of the Cuban-Canadian Foundation.

Some of the most courageous, admirable, and persecuted people in Cuba are doctors who have rebelled against the government’s health-care injustices as well as other injustices. Renowned neurosurgeon Hilda Molina spoke out against the government’s decision to turn Cuba’s prestigious International Centre for Neurological Restoration into a tourists-only hospital.

“Cubans should be treated the same as foreigners. Cubans have less rights in their own country than foreigners who visit here,” Molina said.

Molina has been branded a counter-revolutionary and banned from practicing medicine in Cuba. She lives in Havana and survives on an allowance from her family abroad. After 15 years of trying to obtain a visa to visit her family in Argentina, she was finally granted permission last June. The government repeatedly refused her request to travel having designated her brain “a national asset.” 

The ill effects of universal health care on the average Cuban has been immense. Everyone but the communist elite now has equally deplorable universal health care. Average citizens in the United Kingdom and Canada are also experiencing the collapse of universal health care in their countries. Yet too many middle-class Americans would rather cling to the lies that Brother O and the progressive Democrats tell them about universal health care, than rely on their own eyes to see what has happened to the middle class in the countries that have tried it.

ACORN co-founder Wade Rathke discussed the role of ACORN and SEIU in the government takeover of healthcare during a book signing in New Orleans.

The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) have a symbiotic relationship. Rathke called SEIU “one of the pillars of the ACORN family of organizations.”

While serving as ACORN’s Chief Organizer, Rathke created SEIU Locals 100 (Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi and Texas) and 880 (Illinois, Indiana and Kansas). After establishing SEIU, Rathke held executive positions in labor unions while working as ACORN’s Chief Organizer.

ACORN whistle-blowers swore SEIU and a coalition of labor unions gave ACORN $1,729,462 for political activities and union organizing in 2008, mixing together taxpayer money and union funding. It would seem that the American taxpayer has been picking up the tab to promote Rathke’s political agenda and advance his unionizing activities.

While governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich signed an executive order allowing collective bargaining, which helped SEIU unionize health-care workers. The mega-union had been Blagojevich’s biggest supporter, donating more than $1.8 million over two campaigns for governor.

Now SEIU is in the process of building an empire to handle America’s healthcare needs, which explains its unrelenting fight for a public option. Obviously, the mega-union envisions greater demand for its services and plans to mine the mother load of new dues-paying members.

Barack Hussein Obama will cede US sovereignty to the United Nations at the December “Climate Summit.”

Not content with his humiliation in Copenhagen, Denmark this past September, President Obama will be traveling there again in December to attend the UN COP15 Climate Change Conference. This agreement would commit the United States to punitive and expensive greenhouse gas regulations dictated by the United Nations without recourse.

COP stands for “Conference of the Parties” and the December Copenhagen conference will be the 15th under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), hence COP15. According to their website, it will be one of the largest conferences ever held outside the New York or Geneva headquarters, with an anticipated attendance of over 10,000 people, including governmental representatives from 189 countries, industry groups, and other non-governmental organizations.

The theme of the December 7 – 18 conference is “Hope,” so perhaps Mr. Obama will have more luck this time. Instead of soliciting the International Olympic Committee with trite clichés and getting no payoffs, he will be doing something much easier: selling out our country. After all, ceding power, relinquishing billions in U.S. tax dollars and destroying U.S. economic competitiveness is a pretty easy sell to the countries that will benefit, and he has had a lot of practice doing the same thing here at home. He will have a hard time screwing this one up.

The Hope site optimistically pronounces:

On 7 December, leaders from 192 countries gather for UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen and decide the fate of our planet…

Decide the fate of our planet… Do these people have any idea how mindlessly grandiose they sound? Of course not. They are out to save the planet, just like Nancy Pelosi! It is hard for a normal person to imagine making such proclamations without embarrassment. But this is today’s political class.

This agreement will cede U.S. sovereignty permanently and irrevocably to the United Nations. So said British Lord Christopher Monckton at an event at Bethel University in St Paul, Minnesota last Wednesday, October 14th.

Lord Monckton was former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher’s science advisor. He has lectured and written extensively on the issue, including an in-depth scientific critique to the 50,000 member American Physical Society, a serious side-by-side comparison slap-down of Al Gore’s global warming assertions, and a recent summary of the global warming issue. In introducing his topic at Bethel University, he states unequivocally:

…and I am going to show you the latest science, which now doesn’t leave the question unsettled any more, this is now settled science, it is now settled science that there is not a problem with our influence over the climate. The science is in, the truth is out, and the scare is over.

Lord Monckton presents a series of statistics, charts and studies making a compelling case that not only is global warming insignificant — if it exists at all — but is likely not manmade, and more importantly, that the global warming alarmists have repeatedly, blatantly, deliberately lied, suppressing the facts to promote the myth.

Despite his effective refutation of manmade global warming, his closing remarks about the Copenhagen treaty are chilling:

I read that treaty. And what it says is this, that a world government is going to be created. The word “government” actually appears as the first of three purposes of the new entity. The second purpose is the transfer of wealth from the countries of the West to third world countries, in satisfication of what is called, coyly, “climate debt” because we’ve been burning CO2 and they haven’t. We’ve been screwing up the climate and they haven’t. And the third purpose of this new entity, this government, is enforcement.

So, thank you, America. You were the beacon of freedom to the world. It is a privilege merely to stand on this soil of freedom while it is still free. But, in the next few weeks, unless you stop it, your president will sign your freedom, your democracy, and your prosperity away forever. And neither you nor any subsequent government you may elect will have any power whatsoever to take it back. That is how serious it is. I’ve read the treaty. I’ve seen this stuff about [world] government and climate debt and enforcement. They are going to do this to you whether you like it or no.

You might call it a bit of rhetorical overkill, but given everthing else this administration and Congress have already done, only a bit. As Monckton later stated in a Q & A session, for such a treaty to be ratified requires a positive vote from a two-thirds majority in the U.S. Senate.

It seems difficult to imagine Democrats convincing seven Republicans to assist them in committing national suicide that way. Indeed, a recent Wall Street Journal article quoted Senate Republicans as saying that whatever deal Obama cut at Copenhagen would be dead on arrival:

Wisconsin Rep. James Sensenbrenner, the top Republican on the House Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming, predicts “a repeat of Kyoto — namely an environmentally ineffective agreement that cannot be ratified” by the Senate.

However, perhaps an easier option would be for Democrats to pass legislation enacting some or all of the proposals. The House has already passed the Waxman-Markey (Cap and Trade) bill. This onerous legislation calls for an 83 percent reduction in greenhouse gasses from 2005 levels by 2050. That means almost complete elimination of carbon based fuels, and parallels the goals identified in COP15, which asks participating countries to reduce global emmissions 50-85% by 2050.

Such reductions would essentially bring our economy to a screeching halt, as Lord Monckton states in his speech. Even the more modest goal for 2020 of a 17 percent reduction will force radical changes in how we do business and conduct our daily lives.

Senators John Kerry (D-MA) and the increasingly addled Lindsay Graham (R-SC), put out an Op-Ed in the New York Times last week, under the frighteningly Obamanoid title “Yes We Can,” indicating that perhaps Senate Republicans shouldn’t be so sanguine either. Their article concludes thusly (emphasis added):

We are confident that a legitimate bipartisan effort can put America back in the lead again and can empower our negotiators to sit down at the table in Copenhagen in December and insist that the rest of the world join us in producing a new international agreement on global warming.

So if Kerry and Graham get their way, not only is America going to agree to UN global warming regulations, we are going to lead the charge in getting them imposed!

And the UN panel is fully anticipating a more conciliatory approach from the US. Recognizing Kerry’s efforts, as UNFCCC Executive Secretary Yvo de Boer stated:

I think that a major shortcoming of Kyoto was that the official delegation came back with a treaty they knew was never going to make it through the Senate. And this time I have the feeling that the communication is much stronger, that the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, through John Kerry, is really expressing strongly what they feel needs to be done in Copenhagen.

The UN website states the following about COP15 (emphasis added):

This [the 2009 Bangkok climate change talks] was the penultimate negotiating session before COP15 in Copenhagen in December, at which an ambitious and effective international climate change deal is to be clinched.

Before COP15, there will be a final round of negotiations November 2-6 in Barcelona, Spain at the Barcelona Convention Center.

The most recent UNFCCC Working Group report (181 pages) can be accessed here in PDF format. Much of it references earlier documents, of which there are many. To fully assess the ramifications of this proposal would likely require referencing these earlier documents as well.

While the prospects for Senate ratification of this treaty are probably in doubt, it seems likely the US Congress may try to pass Waxman-Markey or some other hybrid legislation using the same underhanded tactics now in play on healthcare. All the more reason to redouble our efforts at getting them out in 2010.

Suffice it to say that if the carbon reduction targets already discussed are adapted by this country, nevermind whatever other onerous provisions are in this treaty, we might as well all buy a horse and buggy — sorry, rickshaw; horses create methane — because we will be headed back into the 18th century.

The leftist elite establishment has blinded the people in this nation through its educational institutions, mainstream media outlets, and the entertainment industry to garner power for a repressive society. While Brother O and his Bread and Circuses Administration zealously dismantle the sleeping middle class, Americans have become unwitting accomplices to a growing underclass.

During education’s ongoing paradigm shift to a postmodern pedagogy in the mid-1980s, a fellow graduate student recognized that tenure and promotion in the academic world depended on the ability to “quack like a duck,” i.e., absorb and regurgitate the academy’s leftist world view and withhold personal opinions. In other words, outspoken conservatives are both persona non grata and underemployed in academia.

The duck motif not only extends to “journalists” in the mainstream media, but as Rush Limbaugh recently discovered, it extends to the National Football League (NFL), a league he greatly admires.

“[T]he NFL … is the most politically correct environment I’ve ever seen in my life,” said Dennis Miller on The O’Reilly Factor. “I don’t even know why Limbaugh would want to be in [it] quite frankly.”

Like many outspoken professors and journalists, Limbaugh now suffers from the pangs of outrageous injustice, being denied his dream for criticizing and mocking the nanny notions of the statist-minded elite. Limbaugh will not be afforded the opportunity that he has earned through achievement to work in the profession he loves for no reason other than his outspoken conservative views are abhorred by the leftist elite establishment.

Since it was leaked that Limbaugh was part of a group intending to buy the St. Louis Rams football team, the propagandists in the mainstream media have worked feverishly to malign his reputation, undermine his creditability, and destroy his character. They overturned rocks for race-baiting poverty pimps and scoured the NFL for nitwit jocks or any feckless team owner they could find to denounce Limbaugh as a bigot and racist before the nation.

The attack and subsequent defamation of Limbaugh adds to the list of media assaults on outspoken conservatives in order to prevent the resurgence of Reagan conservatism from entering the mainstream of American politics and undoing the leftist elites’ socialist agenda. The leftist elite establishment fears the resurgence of a conservatism of individualism, not of country clubs and boardrooms. The establishment dreads the Reagan conservatism championed over talk radio and at town hall meetings and tea parties, which respects the law and reflects the values and traditions of the people.

Statists demagogues live in constant terror of individualists who are independent, loosely connected to groups, and don’t know their place. They commission media propagandists, ready at their beckon call, to seek out and destroy them. The statist diktat is not to refute an opponent’s argument, it is to “wipe him from the face of the earth,” Sarah Palin, Clarence Thomas, and Robert Bork are noted recipients of the left’s scorched-earth and personal destruction politics.

The mainstream media have been frantically trying to deflate Sarah Palin’s ascendancy to the leadership of a national conservative movement since her dazzling acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention in September 2008. Had she been a Democrat and espoused the statist ideology of Brother O or Hillary Clinton, Palin’s astounding rise from housewife, to mayor, to governor, to vice presidential candidate would have been praised by propagandists, extolled by environmentalists, lionized by leftists, and fawned over by feminists throughout the nation.

People who use common sense and apply the principles of the Constitution obstruct progressive governance, which explains why the media upended Robert Bork’s nomination and tried to stop Clarence Thomas’ confirmation to the Supreme Court. The media permitted and perpetuated the malicious, baseless allegations of the Democrat smear merchants to damage the reputations and destroy the creditability of both men.

Such reprehensible media campaigns, waged to disgrace both men, “did not resemble an argument so much as a lynching.” Bork was depicted as a judicial tyrant, his wife was falsely accused of being a Holocaust denier, and even his movie viewing habits were called into question. Likewise, Thomas was caricatured as a freakish feel-copping porno pervert in order to humiliate him, strip him of his dignity, and dishonor him for life.

The NFL’s management, owners, and players union along with most of the mainstream media and entertainment industry detest and despise Limbaugh as much as they do Palin, Thomas, and Bork. Yet Limbaugh persists in his love for the National Football League regardless of whether the sentiment is mutual.

Like the pedestaled wife of a fawning cuckold, the NFL graciously accepts Limbaugh’s lavish praises, glowing endorsements, and personal expenditures, yet abhors the very thought of embracing him. When the NFL’s leftist elite establishment denied Limbaugh limited ownership in a football franchise, it denied all outspoken conservatives and sent a subtle message to its owners, coaches, and players to suppress conservative opinion and quack like a duck.

The environment is ripe to don the special sunglasses, face the unadorned reality, and see the hideous leftist potentates and mindless moguls for the despicable fascists they truly are. In the grand scheme of things, the significance of the NFL pales in comparison to that of the USA. The country needs a wake up call, and the time has come for Limbaugh to stop chewing bubble gum and phone it in.
 

Now that it’s been discovered that Medicare’s denial rate is roughly 1.7 times that of the top private carriers combined, will the AMA and Brother O’s “cherry picked” medical practitioners continue to sacrifice what’s left of their professional integrity and creditability to promote a government-run health care system that is more likely to deny patient care than administer it?

Supporters of ObamaCare’s public option parrot bromides damning private insurance companies for denying claims and canceling coverage.

“We are held hostage at any given moment by health insurance companies that deny coverage or drop coverage or charge fees that people can’t afford,” Brother O said in August.

Brother O neglected to mention that the worst offender is the oft touted government model, Medicare. The American Medical Association (AMA) and Brother O’s cherry-picked medical professionals endorse the public option because, like Medicare, it would be a better provider for patients when it comes to decision-making autonomy and the ability to get patients the care they need.

Beverly Gossage, Research Fellow for Show-Me Institute and founder of HSA Benefits Consulting, discovered in the AMA’s 2008 National Health Insurer Report Card that Medicare is most likely to reject a claim, denying 6.85 percent or 475,566 claims, which is more than the seven top commercial health insurers and is double their average.

Gossage’s findings mean the AMA, the cherry-picked medical professionals, and the ObamaCare supporters have endorsed a plan “whose closest existing example is the most frequent denier of claims.”

In television ads and news releases, supporters of ObamaCare have shamelessly portrayed insurance companies as insensitive greedy louts with itchy fingers on hair triggers willingly to deny claims for wealth. 

Will the shameless supporters of ObamaCare now portray the government-run insurer Medicare as a cold-blooded bunch of bookkeepers and bureaucrats? The cows will be home long before such a portrayal happens.

Gamaliel is actually a more dangerous group than its corrupt cousin ACORN for it actually embodies the dreaded union of church and state, and, if left unchecked, will emasculate individual liberty in the name of God and sacred community and will sacrifice religious freedom on the advocacy altar of social justice and the greater good.

Brietbart TV has recently unearthed a 2:00 minute video of a Gamaliel International Leadership Assembly “prayer meeting” held December 4, 2008, in Washington, DC, which has created a bit of a stir. 

In the video, people hurriedly enter a room while chanting, “Everybody in! Nobody out!” an apparent reference to universal health care. The group then gathers to offer a scripted prayer for “all of us who face health care without good health care insurance.”

In liturgical fashion, a woman leads a responsive reading, and the group purportedly responds at appropriate intervals “Hear our cry Obama” and “Deliver us Obama.” Whether the respondents clearly say “Obama” or “O God” is open to debate, but what is not debatable are the current and historical ties that Brother O has to the Gamaliel Foundation.

During the 1980s, Chicago served as the intellectual epicenter of Black Nationalism, Louis Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam, and Jesse Jackson’s presidential campaigns, and from 1985 to 1989, at the apex of black radical political thought, Brother O worked as a consultant, trainer, and leadership developer for the Chicago-based Gamaliel Foundation, a group of community organizers trained in the political strategies and leftist principles of radical intellectual Saul Alinsky.

Alinsky’s organization was based in Chicago, and it trained a cadre of community organizers for such groups as the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) and the Gamaliel Foundation in the political strategies outlined in Rules for Radicals. To build left-wing political coalitions within inner city neighborhoods and black churches, Alinsky-style organizing specialized in ideological stealth, deception, and camouflage.

Like ACORN, the Gamaliel Foundation is a politically active organization with Marxist goals and differs only in its narrowly-focused outreach for infiltrating local church communities rather than entire neighborhoods. Once infiltrated, the Gamaliel Foundation hijacks the church leadership to combine a Marxist agenda with a smattering of Christian doctrine and push leftist political issues through methods of intimidation and agitation. Gamaliel organizers quietly share the same anti-American liberation theology brought to the limelight through the guttural discharges of the Reverend Jeremiah Wright.

Gamaliel stands at the center of a well-coordinated, well-funded, and complex campaign to take back the debate and move Obamacare forward. Almost thirty denominations including mainstream Episcopal, Presbyterian USA, and United Methodist churches have joined Gamaliel and the Whitehouse to sell Obamacare through a nationwide TV ad with local clergy and lay leaders supporting reform, prayer rallies and in-district meetings, petition drives, and a call-in Webcast that featured Brother O and diverse faith leaders.

Alinsky created partnerships among faith-based community organizations as a means to seize power to realize his utopian dream of equality, justice, and peace. In Chicago, Brother O learned how to use power at the feet of some of the most radical socialists in America and to advance the Alinsky agenda into the highest levels in government. 

Now that America is in the throes of an Alinsky dream, Americans may wish to examine what the Reverend John C. Welch and Gamaliel acolytes say about the man into whose hands the governance of this nation has been placed: 

“He is Gamaliel.  He is African American.  He is one of us.  He is the 44th President of the United States of America!”

Terminally ill patients die prematurely under the British system of socialized medicine, a subtle form of euthanasia. Many are condemned to die too soon under the United Kingdom’s National Health Service (NHS) death forecasting scheme, the London Telegraph reports. Leading experts, who care for the terminally ill, claim that some patients are being diagnosed as being close to death “without regard to the fact that the diagnosis could be wrong.”

The NHS scheme, known as the Liverpool Care Pathway, puts terminally ill patients on the fast track by withdrawing fluid and drugs and administering continuous sedation until they die.

Under Pathway guidelines, the medical team treating the patient decides when the patient is close to death. To determine whether the patient is a candidate for Pathway, the team looks for signs, which include if the patient is unconsciousness or has difficulty swallowing medication.

The experts caution that these signs can also point to other medical problems. For example, side effects from pain-killers such as morphine or the effects of dehydration can cause patients to become semi-conscious and confused.

Once a patient is put on Pathway, the guidelines recommend that doctors stop giving medications and invasive procedures, such as intravenous drips. The problem for some patients is that they have been “wrongly” diagnosed to Pathway, and this becomes a “self-fulfilling prophecy”; they believe they are about to die, so they die.

Experts also worry that too many doctors are not regularly monitoring patients for improvement in their condition once they start on Pathway. The patient is administered drugs through a syringe driver that continually infuses them over 24 hours until the patient is “terminally” sedated.

The Pathway scheme, which was designed to reduce the suffering of cancer patients in their final hours, has now accounted for about one in six of all deaths in the UK between 2007-08, twice as many as in Belgium and the Netherlands, according to research by Clive Seale, professor of medical sociology at Bart’s and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry.

Palliative care experts point out that death forecasting is an inexact science and when patients are sedated it becomes that much harder to determine if their condition is improving. The UK’s unusually high percentage of deaths by continuous deep sedation (CDS) suggests the possibility that the NHS may be administering the Pathway scheme as a subtle form of euthanasia.

A Department of Health spokesman said, “The Liverpool Care Pathway (LCP) is an established and recommended tool that help[s] … [m]any people receive excellent care at the end of their lives.” The concern over the NHS Pathway scheme is not about how many people received excellent care; it’s about the Pathway of death for those who did not.

Our government will control everything on the Internet, under the Cybersecurity Act of 2009, introduced by Senators John Rockefeller and Olympia Snowe. If enacted, this “big brother” law would allow government scrutiny over everything posted to the Internet, while granting the White House “unprecedented control over computer software and Internet services” and powers “to access private online data, regulate the cyber security industry and even shut down Internet traffic.”

Under the guise of safety, the bill would grant a White House appointed cybersecurity “czar” unprecedented authority to shut down private domestic networks or limit Internet traffic in a “critical” information network during a cybersecurity emergency. What distinguishes a critical information network or constitutes a cybersecurity emergency would be determined by the president. The act would also impart authority to the Commerce Department to track cybersecurity threats and override any existing laws, regulations, rules, or policies restricting access to security data from private networks.

The bill would not only make the president more powerful, but it would also allow the Secretary of Commerce access to all information on a network, which could make the network less safe and more vulnerable to intruders or terrorists. Yet the senators remain resolute to remedy their perceived crisis. Rockefeller insists on protecting “critical infrastructure at all costs” and Snowe demands swift action to avoid “a cyber-Katrina.” Their rhetoric of a looming crisis matches the fearmongering manufactured for the bailout and stimulus bills, given that the bills required drastic intervention and immediate action with little or no consideration for a downside or potential harm.

The proposed legislation “would empower the government to set and enforce security standards for private industry for the first time.” The president could use the authority granted in the proposed law to suspend the effective use of the Internet to circulate information or coordinate activities outside mainstream media outlets or government-approved channels. Such a law could lead to a network police force that would levy fines and shut down private Web sites that government officials determine inappropriate or offensive. The act could also open the door for more Internet censorship legislation, and follow the path taken by Australia and China.

In November, more than half of America’s electorate handed Barack Obama and the progressives carte blanche power to rule over the lives of all Americans, and now they are using that power by attempting to manage and control the flow of information through the only remaining medium capable of resuscitating personal freedom and individual liberty. The Americans who voted for the progressives have put the lives of all Americans in the steely grip of Leviathan, and no Chicago Tea Party, 9-12 Project, or surge in talk radio listeners will prevent the government from wielding its power.

Once again, a host Republican has engaged in parasitism to sacrifice her party for a perceived symbiotic relationship that in fact benefits only the Democrat Party. Snowe and her progressive colleagues in the Republican Party have transformed the party into a sacrificial organism to nourish and support extreme socialist objectives. And the corporate magpies on TV and talk radio seem to be too preoccupied with hawking books, espousing inane, meaningless platitudes, bathing in laudatory praises from fawning sycophants, and acting magnanimous in damning both political parties, to make their listeners aware of this transformation.

Ronald Reagan, Henry David Thoreau, and Thomas Paine understood that a government works best only when it governs least, and that big government inevitably increases servitude, restrains liberty, and destroys freedom. While the Republican Party languishes, the approaching tyranny is poised to lead humanity headlong into what will become a deeply bloodstained century. Yet, there is no outcry from the fourth estate, which was traditionally the guardian of liberty, in opposition to the introduction of the Cybersecurity Law.

Will the media raise its collective voice against this new Orwellian power play as it did when the progressives touted the new Fairness Doctrine and advocated enforced localism? Not likely, because progressives’ outrage reaches a resounding crescendo only when the buttering of their bread is involved.
