Welcome
Come on in and stay awhile
permalink  Ray Haynes

While Ray Haynes served in the California legislature, he wrote an excellent political column that we carried every Monday morning at 8 AM called Monday Morning Memorandum. He stopped writing the column when he reached his term limit and left public office.

Former assemblyman Ray Haynes (66th district – CA) is a native Californian. He is a tireless advocate for common sense behavior in an environment that overwhelmingly seems to have abandoned American ideals for a form of socialism. He is quoted often by major publications and has appeared frequently as a guest on radio and television programs.

His career highlights include:

  • BA, 1976 from California Lutheran College (now California Lutheran University) in Political Science
  • Juris Doctor, 1980 from the University of Southern California
  • Admitted to the California State Bar in 1980 to practice law
  • MA, 1981 from Eastern Kentucky University in Public Administration
  • Became associate at the law firm of Best, Best and Krieger in Riverside, California
  • Began his own practice in Redlands, California in 1983
  • Joined Lawson and Hartnell as a partner in 1984
  • Began a sole law practice in Moreno Valley in 1988
  • Elected as the Assemblyman for the 66th Assembly District in 1992
