Come on in and stay awhile
permalink  Ralph Abney

Ralph Abney is a proud Vietnam era veteran who spent 8 years fighting for his country. Following his military service, he joined the Federal Aviation Administration and had a great career in Air Traffic Control. After retiring he became an instructor in Quality Assurance and Management curriculum for the government.

Ralph was introduced to the world of Human Factors in aviation by the Eminent Dr. Julia Pounds and began doing research analysis as an operational subject matter specialist. This turn in his career took him into the International arena and allowed him to share some very progressive concepts in safety and subsequently leadership.

He is now working in Afghanistan and has been for the last 4 years with an interim stop in Baghdad for a great teaching experience.

He looks forward to eventually coming home to some less strenuous contracting assignments.

Writing from Afghanistan, Ralph authors the column Blue Collar Point of View for the Front Page of American Daughter.
